JETOUR Dashing Dark Warrior Limited Edition Debuts In Malaysia At RM116,800

JETOUR Malaysia has introduced a new design-focused variant of its SUV lineup with the launch of the JETOUR Dashing Dark Warrior Limited Edition, bringing a more aggressive visual package to the Dashing while retaining its existing mechanicals and feature set.

Priced from RM116,800 in Peninsular Malaysia and RM119,800 in East Malaysia (net selling price), the limited-edition model is aimed at buyers who want a more distinctive road presence without stepping up to a different model entirely.

The headline change is, of course, the Matte Black exterior finish, which immediately sets the Dark Warrior apart from the standard Dashing. Complementing this are a series of blacked-out styling cues, including the front and rear JETOUR badging, the Dashing emblem, and the 19-inch Phantom Spec black alloy wheels.

Adding some contrast to the otherwise stealthy theme are the redline brake calipers, giving the SUV a sportier and more premium visual edge.

According to Fu Yong, Chief Executive Officer of JETOUR Auto Malaysia, the new edition is designed for customers who want stronger styling expression without sacrificing daily usability.

“The JETOUR Dashing Dark Warrior Limited Edition is an exciting addition to our lineup in Malaysia. This limited edition offers a bold, distinctive look for drivers who want to reflect their style, without compromising everyday practicality. Malaysia is a key market for us, and we are confident this edition will resonate with those seeking a vehicle that combines design, comfort, and versatility. We remain committed to providing quality vehicles and building strong connections with the local community.”

Same Powertrain, Familiar Practicality

Under the bonnet, the Dark Warrior Limited Edition retains the familiar 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine, producing 156PS and 230Nm of torque.

Power is sent to the wheels through a 6-speed dual-clutch transmission, which JETOUR says is tuned to deliver smooth and responsive performance for both city and highway driving.

Suspension duties continue to be handled by a MacPherson strut setup at the front and a multi-link rear suspension, suggesting that the focus here remains on comfort and daily drivability rather than outright performance upgrades.

In terms of practicality, the Dashing still offers 486 litres of boot space, expandable to 977 litres with the 60:40 split-folding rear seats folded down — an important point for a brand that continues to position itself around lifestyle and travel use.

Well-Equipped Cabin And Safety Features

Inside, the SUV continues with the Dashing’s relatively generous equipment list for the price point.

This includes a 10.25-inch LCD smart twin-screen display, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a 50W wireless fast charger.

Comfort features include a 6-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, rear air vents, rear USB ports, ambient lighting, and a wide-angle panoramic sunroof on selected variants.

On the safety front, the Dark Warrior Limited Edition retains the same advanced driver assistance systems available in the Dashing lineup, including:

  • Blind spot detection
  • Rear cross traffic alert
  • Lane change warning
  • 360-degree surround-view monitoring
  • Tyre pressure monitoring system
  • Rear camera with parking guidelines
  • Cruise control

Warranty coverage remains a strong ownership selling point, with five times free service, a 7-year / 150,000 km vehicle warranty, and a notably long 10-year / 1,000,000 km engine warranty.

CarTok Editor’s Note

This is not about adding performance but more about adding attitude, and at this price point, that may be exactly what some buyers want. In a crowded SUV market where many models share similar specs on paper, sometimes a sharper visual identity is what helps a car stand out on the road.
