Malaysian Entertainer Johan Launches GGR Electric Motorcycle Showroom, Marking a New Chapter in Green Mobility

Popular actor and radio host Johan has taken a bold leap into the electric vehicle (EV) business with the launch of his new GGR x Johan Electric Motorcycle Showroom in Taman Melawati, Kuala Lumpur.
Through his company, Hanania Group Sdn Bhd, the 41-year-old entrepreneur—whose actual name is Mohd Yazid Lim Mohamad Aziz—has already proven his business acumen with his restaurant venture Itik Ke Ayam?. Now, Johan is expanding into the green mobility sector through a strategic collaboration with GGR Motor.
The official opening of the showroom also witnessed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between GGR Legacy (M) Sdn Bhd (GGR Motor) and Hanania Group Sdn Bhd, formalising their partnership under the name GGR x Johan to jointly market electric motorcycles.

The new showroom, located at Melawati Square, 302 Lorong Perak, Taman Melawati, aims to meet the rising demand for sustainable two-wheel transport in Malaysia.
Adding to the prestige of the event, the showroom was officiated by former Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin, who is also Johan’s colleague at Hot FM. The ceremony was also attended by YAM Tengku Syarif Temenggong Perlis, Dato’ Seri Diraja Syed Amir Abidin Jamalullail, Professor Dr. Nizar Abd Jalil (Strategic Partner), and GGR Motor Managing Director Muhammad Mussaddiq Mohamed Azmi.
The event also marked new regional partnerships, including a collaboration between GGR Academy and Ram Corporation Ltd (Thailand) to export electric motorcycles to Thailand, and GGR Zhejiang Huaqu International (VARCHEA) from China.
Johan’s latest business milestone makes him the second Malaysian celebrity—after Farid Kamil—to collaborate with GGR Motor in the EV segment.
“The opening of this showroom reflects our commitment to growth and providing the best service to customers nationwide,” said Johan.
He added that the MoU will not only strengthen electric motorcycle sales but also open new job opportunities, particularly for local youth.
Beyond being a business move, the launch signifies Malaysia’s shift towards a green economy and sustainable mobility, aligning with the nation’s development policies and the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
As one of Malaysia’s most recognisable entertainers, Johan’s venture into the EV business sends a powerful message—that green mobility is no longer just an option, but a necessity.
Meanwhile, GGR Motor’s Managing Director, Muhammad Mussaddiq (“Dekmat”), expressed gratitude for Johan’s long-standing support since 2017:
“Johan has always supported me, even when I was going through hard times. He told me, ‘I know you’re strong, you can do this. I’m proud of you.’ And today, I’m thankful that we’re finally working together.”
About the GGR x Johan Electric Motorcycle
The GGR electric motorcycle is designed for practicality, durability, and ease of use. It features three speed modes—35 km/h, 45–55 km/h, and up to 70 km/h—offering flexibility for both urban and longer rides.
A full battery charge takes around six hours, and unlike conventional motorcycles, it requires minimal maintenance, with no engine servicing needed—just tyres and the battery casing.
Each bike comes with a warranty of up to 50,000km, and spare parts are readily available at GGR x NeoFK outlets.

Customers can also personalise their bikes with add-ons like replacement batteries, upgraded controllers, sport rims, and lighting accessories.
Currently available in six colours—red, white, yellow, orange, light blue, and pink—the range will soon expand to include blue and green variants.
The GGR x Johan electric motorcycle is priced at RM3,999, but with a government rebate of RM2,400, the effective selling price drops to just RM1,569. The rebate is available until December 2025 for applicants with annual incomes below RM100,000.
Each unit is registered with JPJ and comes with insurance coverage, while road tax for electric two-wheelers remains exempted, making ownership even more affordable. The total registration and insurance cost is estimated at RM2,054.
