Bosch Engine Oils Now SIRIM QAS Certified — Driving Confidence and Quality for Malaysian Motorists
Bosch Mobility Aftermarket (MA) has achieved a new milestone with official certification from SIRIM QAS International for its latest range of Bosch Engine Oil products. The certification ensures that Bosch’s lubricants comply with the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN)’s Trade Descriptions (Certification and Marking of Engine Oil for Motor Vehicle) Order 2024, designed to protect consumers and safeguard lubricant quality in Malaysia.

As Malaysia’s national standards and accreditation body, SIRIM is responsible for testing and certifying products against stringent quality, safety, and regulatory benchmarks. Its QAS certification is recognised nationally and internationally as a mark of trust and compliance.
This recognition also strengthens Bosch Mobility Aftermarket’s “Driver’s Choice: Ask for Bosch” campaign, an ongoing initiative promoting safe and high-quality aftermarket solutions for Malaysian motorists. The move comes ahead of KPDN’s enforcement deadline in October 2026, which will require all lubricant products in Malaysia to bear valid SIRIM certification.
Through this proactive certification, Bosch reinforces its stand against counterfeit lubricants and supports the government’s push for greater product integrity — ensuring every driver can enjoy peace of mind and genuine Bosch performance.
