iCAUR V23 Set to Electrify Malaysia: Retro Soul, Modern Power & Adventure-Ready Spirit

iCAUR Malaysia has officially previewed the all-new iCAUR V23, a bold all-electric off-road SUV that brings retro-inspired design, intelligent performance, and electrified freedom into Malaysia’s growing EV scene.

Described as “where urban energy meets dynamic EV capability”, the iCAUR V23 marks the brand’s confident next step after the success of the iCAUR 03, strengthening iCAUR’s foothold in the local adventure EV segment.

Daniel Lai, Marketing Director of iCAUR Malaysia, said:

“The iCAUR 03 set a strong foundation in Malaysia by delivering our brand’s Born to Play promise of top-tier fully electric off-road performance, advanced chassis engineering, and intuitive connectivity. Building on this momentum, the new iCAUR V23 introduces a refined blend of retro-inspired design, adventure-ready capability, and intelligent technology packages that we believe resonate strongly with the aspirations of Malaysian consumers.”

He added,

“The V23 is designed for those who are young at heart, trend-aware, and socially connected — individuals who view their vehicle as an extension of their dynamic, adventurous lifestyle.”

Compact, Confident, and Ready for Adventure

Unveiled earlier this year at the Malaysia Autoshow 2025 and now previewed in Right-Hand Drive form at Starhill Kuala Lumpur, this C-segment V23 measures 4,220 mm long, 1,915 mm wide, and 1,845 mm high, with a 2,735 mm wheelbase — compact enough for city streets yet rugged enough for the trail.

It will be available in 2WD and intelligent AWD (iWD) versions:

  • 2WD: 136 PS, 180 Nm torque, 59.9 kWh LFP battery, up to 401 km range (CLTC)
  • iWD: Dual-motor setup, 211 PS, 292 Nm torque, 81.8 kWh NMC battery, up to 501 km range (CLTC)

Acceleration from 0–100 km/h takes 11 seconds (2WD) and 7.5 seconds (iWD), with both capped at 140 km/h. Charging is equally flexible — 85 kW DC fast charging for the 2WD and 104 kW for the iWD, while AC charging is 6.6 kW.

A highlight for adventurers is the 3.3 kW Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) feature, which allows users to power camping gear or electronics directly from the vehicle.

Design: Retro Cool Meets Tech-Forward Utility

Style-wise, the V23 channels classic off-road silhouettes with a modern minimalist twist — boxy yet refined, with 19-inch wheels (2WD) or 21-inch alloys (iWD) wrapped in 255/55 R19 and 265/45 R21 tyres respectively.

Inside, it’s a fusion of old-school charm and digital sophistication: rotary knobs, a high-roof cabin for superior visibility, and a 540-degree Transparent Chassis Camera for total terrain awareness.

Safety and Tech

The iCAUR V23 comes equipped with Level 2 ADAS, featuring adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, and autonomous emergency braking — highligthing iCAUR’s focus on both driving confidence and safety.

Market Launch and Pricing

Expected to launch in Q4 2025, the iCAUR V23 is estimated to start from RM145,000 (2WD) and RM155,000 (AWD). Bookings open today for customers eager to join the electrified adventure.

To enhance ownership support, iCAUR Malaysia also announced plans for 18 sales points and 9 full-fledged service centres nationwide by the end of 2025, including expansions into Sabah and Sarawak.

Public Showcase at Starhill

The public can experience the iCAUR V23 up close at Starhill Piazza, Kuala Lumpur, from 29 October to 2 November 2025 (10 AM–10 PM). The showcase includes skateboarding demos, dynamic dance shows, and the iCAUR V23 iFUN social media contest, where visitors can win exclusive merchandise and prizes.
