smart Malaysia has officially launched its boldest electric vehicle yet, the all-new smart #5, a mid-size D-segment SUV designed for drivers who want more space, more range, and more attitude. Positioned as “Style Meets Robustness”, the smart #5 expands the brand’s EV line-up beyond its city-focused roots, joining the smart #1 and #3 as the brand’s most versatile and adventure-ready model to date.
With prices set at RM199,800 for the Premium and RM249,800 for the BRABUS variant (OTR without insurance; early bird price), the smart #5 signals a major push by smart into the lifestyle-EV segment — one built around capability, comfort, and high-end design.

With a 2,900mm wheelbase and a stand-out boxy stance, the smart #5 measures 4,695 mm long, 1,920 mm wide and 1,705 mm tall and carries a rugged while retaining the premium styling cues associated with Mercedes-Benz design influence.
