Yamaha Motor Malaysia has introduced new colour options for the 2026 Yamaha Ego Avantiz, refreshing the popular 125cc automatic scooter while retaining its proven mechanical package and accessible pricing.
For the new model year, the Yamaha Ego Avantiz is now offered in Blue, Black, and Green, giving buyers a wider range of factory colour choices while retaining the scooter’s familiar design and positioning.

Availability and Pricing
The new colour variants of the 2026 Yamaha Ego Avantiz will be available at all authorised Yamaha dealers nationwide from 12 January 2026.
Pricing remains unchanged, with a recommended retail price of RM5,998, excluding registration fees and insurance.
Engine and Performance Overview
Powering the Ego Avantiz is a 125cc single-cylinder, air-cooled SOHC engine, producing 7.0 kW at 8,000 rpm and 9.6 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm.
The setup prioritises fuel efficiency, ease of maintenance, and everyday usability—key reasons why the Ego Avantiz continues to appeal to daily commuters and first-time riders.

Chassis, Weight and Everyday Usability
Built around a lightweight underbone frame, the Yamaha Ego Avantiz has a kerb weight of 96 kg, making it easy to handle in stop-start traffic and tight urban spaces.
Suspension consists of a telescopic front fork paired with a rear monoshock, while braking is handled by a single hydraulic front disc and rear drum setup, a straightforward and cost-effective configuration for the segment.
Seat height is rated at 773 mm, contributing to rider accessibility, while a 4.2-litre fuel tank supports practical daily commuting without frequent fuel stops.

A Familiar Formula, Freshened Up
Rather than a full model update, Yamaha’s approach with the 2026 Ego Avantiz focuses on visual refreshment and continued affordability in Malaysia’s highly competitive entry-level scooter segment.
For buyers who value dependable hardware, manageable dimensions, and a price point that remains accessible, the Ego Avantiz stays firmly in its comfort zone—now with a bit more colour choice.
CarTok Editor’s Note:
No reinvention here and maybe that’s exactly the point. The Ego Avantiz keeps doing what it’s always done well: staying affordable, approachable, and quietly dependable.
