Alam Flora Takes Delivery Of 173 UD Trucks To Boost Public Cleansing Operations
UD Trucks Malaysia and its sole distributor partner, Tan Chong Industrial Equipment Sdn Bhd (TCIE), have completed the delivery of 173 new trucks to Alam Flora Sdn Bhd, marking one of the largest fleet acquisitions for public cleansing operations in the country.
The substantial order comprises medium-duty UD Croner and light-duty UD Kuzer trucks, which will be deployed across Alam Flora’s concession areas covering the Federal Territories of Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya, as well as the state of Pahang.
Strategic Fleet Expansion
The truck procurement forms part of Alam Flora’s initiative to expand its solid waste collection capacity and enhance operational efficiency. Due to the considerable order size, deliveries were executed in batches to ensure proper quality control and customisation of truck bodies for optimal waste collection performance.
The final batch celebration saw five units of UD Croner officially handed over at Terberg Zenith Malaysia’s premises in Balakong, Selangor. Terberg Malaysia served as the truck body builder partner for this deal, equipping the vehicles with their advanced Olympus rear-loading compaction waste collection body and bin lifter technology.
