OMODA | JAECOO Malaysia today previewed the OMODA C9 PHEV, the brand’s most powerful and technologically advanced SUV to date. Designed as a luxury off-road coupé SUV, the C9 embodies “The Power to Lead,” combining a cutting-edge triple-motor plug-in hybrid system with refined design and world-class comfort.
Interior and Exterior Design
The C9 PHEV presents a commanding road presence with elegant SUV coupé proportions and premium detailing. Its sculpted bodywork is complemented by an Auxiliary Lighting System that accentuates exterior curves, while its wide stance and dynamic silhouette position it at the top of the segment.
Inside, the cabin delivers a first-class experience, with heated and ventilated seats, premium upholstery, expansive space, and a panoramic moonroof that enhances the sense of openness.
Powertrain and Electrified Performance
At the heart of the OMODA C9 PHEV is a 1.5L turbocharged petrol engine paired with three electric motors, generating a combined output of up to 445 kW (605 PS) and 915 Nm of torque.

The OMODA | JAECOO Carnival is happening from 21 to 24 August 2025 at Desa ParkCity, Kuala Lumpur, running daily from 10.00 AM to 10.00 PM. Visitors can experience the full Malaysia line-up, including curated test drives of the popular OMODA J7 and flagship J8, available from 10.00 AM until 7.00 PM.
