Motul Malaysia Expands Dealer Network, Strengthens Nationwide Partnerships

Motul Malaysia is beginning 2026 with a larger dealer network and renewed focus on strengthening its presence across key regions, following what it describes as a year of growth in 2025.
The high-performance lubricant specialist says its expansion strategy centres on deeper collaboration with dealers, who serve as the brand’s primary link to workshops and end users nationwide.
Dealer Network Recognition in 2025
In November 2025, Motul Malaysia hosted 109 partners from across the country on a four-day dealer appreciation trip to Pattaya, Thailand. The programme was designed to recognise dealer contributions while reinforcing long-term working relationships within its distribution network.
“Our dealer network forms the foundation of our success in Malaysia,” said Ravi Shankar, General Manager for Motul Malaysia. “These partnerships represent collaborative commitments to delivering excellence to workshops and end users, not just transactional relationships.”
Motul says the initiative reflects its long-term approach to market development, where dealer performance and brand growth are closely linked.

New Authorised Dealers Announced
As part of its continued expansion in Malaysia, Motul has appointed three new authorised dealers:
- Lubeon Sdn Bhd – Puchong, Selangor
- Nget Soon Lubricants Sdn Bhd – Tawau, Sabah
- Corporate Performance Sdn Bhd – Kota Kinabalu, Sabah
These additions strengthen Motul’s reach in both Peninsular and East Malaysia, improving product accessibility for workshops and retail customers in those regions.
Ravi added, “Our dealers are the vital link between Motul and end users. Their expertise and daily efforts help maintain the high standards our customers expect. This expansion ensures more Malaysians have access to premium lubricants backed by knowledgeable partners.”
Focus on Local Support with Global Backing
Motul’s approach combines its global product portfolio with local market knowledge from its dealer network. The company positions its dealers not only as distributors, but as technical advisors who can recommend lubricants based on vehicle type, usage conditions, and performance requirements.
With Malaysia’s vehicle parc continuing to grow — including modern turbocharged engines, hybrids and high-performance motorcycles — lubricant selection and proper servicing remain critical to long-term reliability.
Motul says it will continue supporting dealers with training and resources to meet evolving vehicle technology and workshop demands.
Looking Ahead
Motul Malaysia’s 2026 plans include further partner engagement initiatives, including an upcoming Partner Appreciation Event in Istanbul, Türkiye.
“2026 starts with energy, focus, and the relentless drive that defines the brand, rooted in motorsport values of precision, courage, and performance,” said Yvonne Ng, Marketing Head of Motul Malaysia.

CarTok Editor’s Note:
Lubricants rarely make headlines, but they quietly determine whether engines age gracefully or expensively. Expanding dealer coverage may not be flashy — but for workshops and owners, easier access to the right oil often matters more than another horsepower headline.
