Aveta Viper 180 and Bellagio 125: Two Scooters for Different Riding Lifestyles

Aveta Motor Malaysia has introduced two new scooters — the Viper 180 and Bellagio 125 — giving Malaysian riders a choice between a sporty touring-focused model and a retro-styled urban commuter.

Designed to meet the evolving needs of modern riders, both scooters combine practical performance, contemporary styling, and a strong list of features aimed at everyday usability.

Viper 180 — Sporty Performance With Touring Capability

The Viper 180 is positioned for riders who want more power, technology and riding range in a scooter platform.

Powered by a liquid-cooled 174cc four-stroke four-valve engine producing 13.6 kW at 8,500 rpm and 17.2 Nm at 6,500 rpm, the Viper 180 is designed to deliver responsive acceleration for both city riding and highway cruising.

A 10.5-litre fuel tank and 1,375 mm wheelbase are intended to improve stability and extend riding range, making the scooter suitable for mid-distance touring while remaining practical for daily commuting.

The Viper 180 uses telescopic forks at the front and twin rear shock absorbers, while ground clearance is rated at 140 mm. Tyre sizes are 110/70-14 in front and 130/70-13 at the rear.

Technology is a key highlight of the Viper 180. It features a 7-inch TFT touchscreen display with recording and playback capability, working alongside a built-in front dashcam that allows riders to capture their journeys.

Other features include:

• Dual-channel ABS with switchable Traction Control System (TCS)
• Full LED lighting system
• Adjustable handlebar for improved riding ergonomics
• Bosch electronic fuel injection (EFI)

The feature set positions the Viper 180 as one of the more technology-focused scooters in its displacement class.

The Viper 180 is available in Arctic White, Midnight Black, and Storm Grey. The retail price is RM8,998.

Bellagio 125 — Elegant, Practical Urban Mobility

The Bellagio 125 takes a different approach, combining modern-retro styling with practical features for urban commuting.

Powered by an air-cooled 124cc four-stroke engine, the Bellagio 125 is designed to deliver smooth and fuel-efficient performance for everyday city riding. Output is rated at 6.5 kW at 7,500 rpm and 9.5 Nm at 6,000 rpm.

A 1,300 mm wheelbase helps balance stability with easy manoeuvrability in traffic, while a 775 mm seat height is intended to make the scooter accessible for a wide range of riders. Ground clearance is 110 mm.

The Bellagio 125 uses a telescopic front fork and single rear shock absorber, with 90/90-12 tyres fitted front and rear.

Key features include:

• Full-colour LCD digital display
• USB charging port
• Classic windshield
• Classic-style pillion grabrail
• Front disc brake with rear drum brake
• 6-litre fuel tank

With its blend of retro-inspired design and practical equipment, the Bellagio 125 is aimed at riders seeking stylish yet convenient mobility for urban environments.

The Bellagio 125 is available in Diamond White, Pistachio Green, and Carbon Black. It retails for RM6,998.

“With the Viper 180 and Bellagio 125, we are offering two distinct scooter experiences — one focused on sporty touring performance, and the other on elegant urban practicality,” said Steven Lim, Group Managing Director of Aveta Motor Malaysia. “Both models reflect our commitment to delivering value, technology and design that resonate with Malaysian riders.”

The Viper 180 and Bellagio 125 are now available at authorised Aveta dealers nationwide, with the first batch for both models already fully booked.

CarTok Editor’s Note

Two scooters, two very different briefs. The Viper 180 leans into technology and longer rides, while the Bellagio 125 focuses on style and easy city mobility. In simple terms: one for the commute that occasionally stretches beyond the city, and one for the coffee run that never needs to.
