During the Malaysia media visit to the SGM–Wuling Headquarters in early November, one technology stood out above all else: the Wuling MAGIC Battery, the brand’s flagship safety-focused power solution for both its pure electric and hybrid models. Wuling has been pushing hard in the EV and new-energy space, and its battery technology is one of the highlights of the visit.

Despite the playful name, MAGIC is a seriously engineered battery built around one priority above all else: safety. The acronym represents the technology behind it:
