Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia Opens New 4S Centre In Miri, Strengthens Sarawak Presence

Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia (MMM) has expanded its footprint in East Malaysia with the opening of a new 4S centre in Miri, Sarawak, operated by authorised dealer Auto Pacifica.

Located at Autocity Eastwood Town Centre along Jalan Miri Bypass, the 21,669 sq ft facility brings together sales, service, spare parts, and body & paint operations under one roof. The move reflects Mitsubishi’s continued focus on improving customer access and aftersales support in Sarawak.

The new outlet features a modern showroom displaying Mitsubishi’s latest models, including the all-new Xforce SUV. Customers are welcomed through a dedicated reception area, with a spacious layout and lounge designed to provide a more comfortable experience during visits.

On the aftersales side, the centre is equipped with 13 service bays and six body & paint bays, allowing it to handle higher service volumes more efficiently. All technicians are Mitsubishi-certified and trained in the brand’s latest diagnostic and repair procedures, aimed at reducing turnaround times.

“Miri is a growing community with strong potential. The opening of this new 4S centre represents not just an expansion of our network, but a stronger commitment to being closer to our customers and serving them better. With this new facility, customers can look forward to a more convenient, seamless, and comprehensive ownership experience,” said Takashi Sakamaki, Chief Executive Officer of Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia.

Auto Pacifica, part of the Samling Group, has been a Mitsubishi dealer partner since 2009. With this new facility, the dealer now operates three outlets across Sarawak, including in Bintulu and Kota Samarahan, strengthening support coverage across the state.

The timing of the opening coincides with Mitsubishi’s introduction of the Xforce, a compact SUV positioned for urban and lifestyle-oriented buyers. The Miri 4S centre is expected to support growing demand in the region by offering easier access to test drives, financing, and aftersales services.
