BMW Malaysia Opens Second Batch Of 50 Units For Locally Assembled 218 Gran Coupé M Sport

BMW Malaysia has opened a second batch allocation of 50 additional units of the locally assembled BMW 218 Gran Coupé M Sport, following strong customer demand for the compact premium four-door model.
The additional allocation gives Malaysian customers another opportunity to purchase the new BMW 218 Gran Coupé M Sport, which combines BMW’s M Sport styling with advanced driver assistance systems, enhanced digital connectivity and Adaptive M Suspension.
The BMW 218 Gran Coupé M Sport is locally assembled in Malaysia and is positioned as a compact Gran Coupé offering a combination of everyday usability and sportier driving characteristics.

BMW M Sport Styling
The exterior features BMW’s Iconic Glow illuminated kidney grille, Adaptive LED headlights and 18-inch M light-alloy wheels.
Other styling elements include High-Gloss Shadowline exterior trim and a distinctive M Sport rear diffuser, giving the compact Gran Coupé a more aggressive appearance.
Inside, the BMW 218 Gran Coupé M Sport comes with the BMW Curved Display, BMW Live Cockpit Professional running BMW Operating System 9, a Head-Up Display and a Harman Kardon HiFi loudspeaker system.
The cabin also gets an M leather steering wheel and M anthracite headliner.


1.5-litre Turbo Engine
Power comes from a 1.5-litre turbocharged three-cylinder petrol engine producing 115 kW (156 hp) and 230 Nm of torque.
BMW quotes a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 8.6 seconds.
The BMW 218 Gran Coupé M Sport is also equipped with Adaptive M Suspension, which allows the suspension characteristics to adapt to driving conditions while balancing handling agility with ride comfort.
For additional driver assistance, the model comes with Driving Assistant Plus and Parking Assistant Plus.

Connected Technology
The new BMW 218 Gran Coupé M Sport also brings a comprehensive suite of connected features.
These include the BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant with Amazon Alexa integration, BMW Digital Premium, Personal eSIM, Remote Software Upgrades and BMW Digital Key Plus.
The combination allows owners to access connected services, remotely update vehicle software and use compatible digital devices as a vehicle key.



Price In Malaysia
The BMW 218 Gran Coupé M Sport is priced from RM192,800 on the road without insurance.
Customers opting for the four-year BMW Service & Repair Inclusive (BSRI) package pay RM204,800.
The BSRI programme includes a four-year unlimited-mileage warranty and four years or 80,000km of service coverage.
BMW Malaysia also provides BMW Roadside Assistance and an Accident Hotline as part of its premium ownership package.
BMW Financing Options
BMW Group Financial Services Malaysia is offering the BMW 218 Gran Coupé M Sport through two financing options.
Under Easy Drive Financing, monthly instalments start from RM2,441, based on an 80% margin of finance over five years, annual mileage of 20,000km and after deducting a RM5,000 Easy Drive Cash Rebate.
With Straight-Line Financing, monthly instalments start from RM2,284, based on an 80% margin of finance over seven years and an 80% financing margin.
Customers financing through BMW Easy Drive can also opt for BMW Protection+, which includes coverage such as accidental death or permanent disability, vehicle break-in, hire purchase loan repayment protection and guaranteed asset protection.
BMW Referral Programme
BMW Malaysia is also offering its BMW Referral Programme until 30 September 2026.
Eligible BMW owners who successfully refer a new customer who purchases and takes delivery of a BMW can receive RM1,000 in BMW Lifestyle credits, while the new customer also receives RM1,000 in BMW Lifestyle credits.
There is no minimum ownership period for existing BMW owners, while multiple referrals are permitted subject to BMW Malaysia’s validation and fair-use requirements.
