FLUX Launches Merdeka 69 Promotion With 69% Off First And Last Subscription Payments

FLUX has launched its “Merdeka 69” campaign, offering customers a 69% discount on the first and last month’s payment for selected 24- and 36-month vehicle subscription plans.
The promotion runs from 8 July until 6 September 2026 and applies automatically to all eligible vehicles listed on the FLUX platform, including both new and pre-owned models.
The campaign coincides with FLUX expanding its vehicle subscription catalogue to more than 40 automotive brands, 400 model variants and over 600 vehicles in total. Newly added brands include Chery, Haval, iCaur, Mitsubishi and GAC, joining the company’s existing selection of petrol, hybrid and fully electric vehicles.

Unlike conventional vehicle financing, FLUX operates on a monthly subscription model where insurance, road tax and scheduled maintenance are included in a single monthly payment.
To subscribe during the Merdeka campaign, customers are required to prepare:
- Two months’ refundable deposit
- One-time RM49 booking fee
- Identification documents
- Three months’ bank statements and payslips
- Additional supporting documents for foreign applicants
According to FLUX founder and CEO Aziz Ayman, the company’s expanded line-up allows customers to choose between new and pre-owned vehicles without committing to a traditional vehicle loan.

CarTok Editor’s Note:
Vehicle subscriptions remain a niche option in Malaysia, where outright ownership and hire purchase financing continue to dominate.
However, as monthly ownership costs rise and more consumers prioritise flexibility over long-term commitments, subscription services are gradually becoming a viable alternative for certain groups such as expatriates, young professionals and those who frequently change vehicles.
FLUX’s expansion beyond pre-owned cars into brand-new models suggests the company is positioning itself to capture a broader segment of the market rather than competing solely on affordability.
