Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia (MMM) recently shared that the Mitsubishi Xforce has secured over 1,000 bookings within just one week of its pre-launch period.
The strong early response comes ahead of the model’s official launch in early April, signalling solid interest in Mitsubishi’s latest compact SUV offering in Malaysia.
Early Bird Package Extended
In light of the encouraging take-up rate, MMM is extending its Early Bird Package to the next 1,000 customers who place their bookings before the official launch.
Customers who book during this extended period will receive:
- RM5,000 cash rebate
- Three times free labour service
- Entry into a “Buy 1 Free 1” Contest, with a chance to win a Mitsubishi Xforce Ultimate
It is a straightforward value proposition — early commitment is rewarded, and Mitsubishi is clearly aiming to maintain booking momentum through to launch.

Design-Led Compact SUV with Practical Focus
The Mitsubishi Xforce combines bold styling with everyday usability. The model has already been recognised internationally with the iF DESIGN AWARD 2024, highlighting its modern and distinctive character.
Beyond design, the Xforce is engineered with practical Malaysian conditions in mind. Highlights include:
- Four selectable drive modes
- Active Yaw Control (AYC)
- 222mm ground clearance
That 222mm figure is particularly noteworthy for a compact SUV, offering added confidence over uneven roads and flood-prone areas.

Comfort and Technology Inside
Inside, the Xforce is positioned as a lifestyle-oriented SUV. Key features include:
- 8-step reclining rear seats
- Dynamic Sound Yamaha Premium Audio System
- 12.3-inch Display Audio system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
- nanoe X dual-zone air-conditioning
Practical touches such as a Power Tailgate with Kick Motion, 23 storage compartments including a centre cooler box, and an All-Round Monitor with parking sensors reinforce its family-friendly appeal. Mitsubishi Motors Safety Sensing (ADAS) is also included as part of the package.

Mitsubishi: Confident in Dealer Readiness and Local Commitment
Takashi Sakamaki, Chief Executive Officer of Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia said, “We are truly grateful for the tremendous response to the Mitsubishi Xforce. Achieving over 1,000 bookings within just one week is a strong testament to the confidence Malaysians have in our brand and in this exciting new SUV. The extension of our Early Bird Package is our way of thanking customers for their trust and enthusiasm.”
He added, “We are also confident that our nationwide dealer network is fully prepared to deliver a seamless ownership experience, from booking to aftersales support. With the Xforce being locally assembled, it further demonstrates our long-term commitment to Malaysia. We believe the Xforce will set a new benchmark in its segment and continue to strengthen Mitsubishi Motors’ presence in the market.”
Variants and Pricing
The Mitsubishi Xforce will be offered in two variants:
- Urban – tentative price around RM110,000 (on-the-road, without insurance)
- Ultimate – tentative price around RM120,000 (on-the-road, without insurance)
With pricing positioned squarely in the competitive B-SUV space, the Xforce enters a crowded but active segment. Surpassing 1,000 bookings before launch suggests Mitsubishi has tapped into genuine market interest — and the extended Early Bird package could push that momentum further through the festive period.
CarTok Editor’s Note
Chinese New Year may have shifted attention elsewhere this week, but 1,000 bookings in the first week of its pre-launch campaign is not seasonal noise. If Mitsubishi can convert early interest into consistent deliveries and solid ownership experience, the Xforce could quietly become one of the more important launches in its segment this year — not loud, just effective.
