Aveta has expanded its motorcycle range with two new models aimed at everyday Malaysian riders: the Serra 125 flat-step scooter and the third-generation VS115 underbone moped.
The launch reflects Aveta’s focus on practical mobility, with both models positioned around affordability, ease of use and features that matter in daily riding.
“Everything we do at Aveta is built on the voice of our customers,” said Steven Lim, Group Managing Director of Aveta Malaysia. “These new models represent not just upgrades, but thoughtful responses to what riders truly want.”

VS115 (3rd Generation): A Familiar Moped Updated with Useful Touches
The third-generation VS115 continues Aveta’s push in the entry-level moped segment, where low running costs and simple ownership still matter most.

Built on a 113cc engine, the VS115 V3 gets newly enhanced signal lights and the addition of dual USB Type-A and Type-C charging ports, bringing a more modern touch to the model’s everyday usability.
Aveta says the model remains true to its “Motor Madani, everyone’s choice” positioning, with a focus on accessible transport for Malaysian commuters.

Key technical details include a 4-stroke, air-cooled SOHC engine producing 6.5 kW at 8,000 rpm and 9.0 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm, paired with a 4-speed manual transmission. The VS115 also features an 83kg chassis, 4-litre fuel tank, telescopic front fork, twin-shock rear suspension, and drum brakes front and rear.
It is offered in Maroon, Blue and Grey. It is priced at RM3,488 (not including road tax and insurance).

Serra 125: Aveta Enters the Flat-step Scooter Segment
The Serra 125 marks Aveta’s entry into the flat-step scooter category, bringing a more accessible layout for riders who want easier mounting and dismounting in everyday use. Its flat floorboard gives it a more practical setup for urban commuting, while the model also appears well suited to riders who prioritise comfort and convenience.

Power comes from a 124cc air-cooled, 4-stroke SOHC engine producing 6.5 kW at 7,500 rpm and 9.5 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm, with a Bosch EFI system and CVT automatic transmission.
In terms of equipment, the Serra 125 gets a front disc brake, full LED lighting with DRL, LCD digital meter, dual USB Type-A and Type-C ports, cargo carrier rack and carrier hook. It also rides on 14-inch wheels, with 80/90-14 front and 90/90-14 rear tyres, supported by telescopic front forks and a rear coil-spring suspension.

Other figures include a 6-litre fuel tank, 105kg kerb weight and 125mm ground clearance.
The Serra 125 is available in Ash Grey, Mystic Mint and Pixel Blue. It is priced at RM5,088 (not including road tax and insurance).

Backed by Aveta’s Aftersales Support
Both models are supported by Aveta’s 20,000km warranty and the expanded Aveta Care on Wheels (ACW) programme.
Aveta says the programme is strengthened through Preferred Plus Dealers and a fleet of six mobile aftersales service units across Peninsular Malaysia. Riders can also contact the Aveta Careline at 012-503 5409 for assistance.
The Serra 125 and VS115 (3rd Generation) are now available at authorised Aveta dealerships nationwide.
CarTok Editor’s Note
This launch is about selling practicality to those who prioritise easy daily commuting, low ownership costs and useful features. The VS115 keeps things simple while the Serra 125 gives Aveta a more accessible automatic option. That is a sensible move in a market where value matters as much as badge appeal.
