PROTON e.MAS has its full electric vehicle line-up in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, with a five-day roadshow at Suria Sabah from 7 to 11 October 2026, offering test drives, special deals and activities for prospective buyers.
Visitors are free to explore the Proton e.MAS 5, e.MAS 7 and e.MAS 7 PHEV, speak with the brand’s team about EV ownership and charging, and experience the vehicles through test drives.
The roadshow comes as Proton e.MAS reports more than 40,000 vehicle deliveries within 20 months of the e.MAS 7 going on sale, reflecting the brand’s growing presence in Malaysia’s electrified vehicle market.
“Buying a car is an important decision, and we want our customers in Sabah to see our vehicles up close, experience them for themselves and have open conversations with our team,” said Puan Salawati Mohd Yusoff, Chief Branding Officer of PRO-NET.
She added that Sabah is an important market for the company as it continues to expand its nationwide sales, service and charging support.
Three Proton e.MAS Models Available For Test Drives
The roadshow showcases all three models in the Proton e.MAS range:
- Proton e.MAS 5: Malaysia’s No. 1 EV model.
- Proton e.MAS 7: Malaysia’s first national EV.
- Proton e.MAS 7 PHEV: Malaysia’s best-selling plug-in hybrid electric vehicle.
Beyond the vehicles, PRO-NET says its nationwide ownership network comprises 60 dealerships and more than 1,600 trained sales and aftersales professionals.
The company is targeting 70 outlets by the end of 2026, including 57 service centres and 14 Body & Paint centres.
For charging, the Proton e.MAS Live Charging Map lists more than 5,100 charging points, with real-time availability accessible through the vehicles’ navigation system and the Proton e.MAS app.
The app also lists more than 2,000 charging points across over 700 apartments and condominiums, providing additional information for EV owners living in high-rise residences.
Roadshow Offers Include RM10,000 Overtrade Support
PRO-NET is offering several special offers during the Suria Sabah roadshow, including free wallbox installation, overtrade support of up to RM10,000 and a special bank interest rate of 2.1% from Affin Bank (subject to the applicable terms and conditions).
Customers who place a booking during the roadshow will also receive a 10% discount at Montanic Adventure Store.
Other activities include the “Find MECCHA CHAMELEON” activity, with ZUS cans available while stocks last.
On 10 and 11 October, PRO-NET’s Training Team will conduct EV sharing sessions featuring product presentations and opportunities for visitors to ask questions about electric driving, charging and ownership.
Solar provider Brilliant Solar will also offer up to 2% off a solar system to eligible customers who visit its booth, consult a solar representative, sign up for a system and pay a RM1,000 deposit on-site. The first 20 eligible customers will receive RM100 in Touch ’n Go eWallet credit (subject to terms and conditions).
The roadshow gives Sabahans an opportunity to experience the Proton e.MAS range and learn more about the support available as the brand expands its presence beyond Peninsular Malaysia.
