Kamal Adli, Ernie Zakri Among New JETOUR T2 Owners, T1 Bookings Now Open

JETOUR Malaysia officially handed over new JETOUR T2 SUVs to several Malaysian celebrities at the Kuala Lumpur International Mobility Show (KLIMS) 2026.

Among the new T2 owners are actors Kamal Adli, Sara Ali and Azhan Rani, award-winning singer Ernie Zakri, as well as content creator Hayden Wong. The special handover ceremony was held at KLIMS 2026 and accompanied by a meet-and-greet session with fans. Azhan Rani joined the celebration virtually due to a scheduling conflict.

KLIMS is also serving as a platform for JETOUR to promote the upcoming T1. Bookings for the new SUV are now open ahead of its official Malaysian launch in Malaysia.

The celebrity deliveries reflect JETOUR’s Travel+ philosophy, which centres on creating meaningful experiences through travel, exploration and shared journeys.

For Kamal Adli and Sara Ali, their introduction to the brand came through the filming of the upcoming movie Takluk 2: Ops Daulat, which features JETOUR vehicles.

Kamal said his experience driving a JETOUR vehicle during filming left a positive impression and sparked his interest in the brand. Sara added that the T2’s bold styling immediately caught her attention while still offering the comfort she values for family journeys.

Meanwhile, Ernie Zakri highlighted the importance of having a vehicle that can accommodate both professional commitments and family life. Hayden Wong said travel has long been a source of inspiration, making JETOUR’s travel-focused philosophy particularly relevant to his lifestyle.

Azhan Rani also revealed that he first learned about the T2 through fellow actor Beto Kusyairy before the model’s official launch. After taking delivery of the SUV, he immediately drove it to Kuala Terengganu for a drama production, describing the vehicle as offering a balance of rugged styling, comfort and driving enjoyment.

T1 Expands JETOUR’s SUV Line-Up

Alongside the T2 showcase (which includes the upcoming i-DM plug-in hybrid variant), visitors to KLIMS 2026 can also get a closer look at the upcoming JETOUR T1.

Positioned below the larger T2, the T1 is expected to broaden JETOUR’s appeal in Malaysia by offering another option within the brand’s adventure-inspired SUV range.

Offered in 1.5L TGDi 2WD and 2.0L TGDi XWD variants with estimated prices from RM143,800, the T1 combines rugged, adventure-inspired styling with a premium feature list that includes ADAS Level 2 safety systems, large infotainment displays, leatherette upholstery, panoramic view monitoring and up to all-wheel drive capability.

Building An Ownership Community

As JETOUR continues expanding its presence in Malaysia, the company is also investing in owner engagement initiatives.

One of these is the newly established JETOUR Malaysia Club, a platform designed to connect owners, encourage the sharing of travel experiences and provide opportunities to participate in future brand activities.

According to JETOUR, the initiative reflects its commitment to supporting customers beyond vehicle ownership while fostering a community built around exploration, travel and shared experiences.

CarTok Editor’s Note

JETOUR’s celebrity handovers may be putting familiar faces behind the wheel. But the brand is clearly trying to build a lifestyle-led identity around travel, exploration and shared experiences, supported by initiatives such as the JETOUR Malaysia Club. The T2 may be the current face of that strategy, but the upcoming T1 could be the model that brings the Travel+ philosophy to a wider group of Malaysian buyers.

On a side note, the G700 premium off-road hybrid SUV is hiding in plain sight behind the main display area. There is no indication yet of a Malaysian launch.
