smart Malaysia has introduced the limited-edition smart #5 BRABUS Laser Red Edition, adding a striking new exterior colour option to its flagship all-electric performance SUV.
Available in limited numbers, the new Laser Red finish is offered exclusively on the smart #5 BRABUS, giving buyers a more distinctive appearance while retaining the same performance, technology and premium equipment as the standard model.
Same BRABUS Performance
Mechanically, the Laser Red Edition remains unchanged.
It continues to use a dual-motor all-wheel-drive powertrain producing 475kW (646PS) and 710Nm of torque, enabling the electric SUV to accelerate from 0-100km/h in just 3.8 seconds.
The BRABUS variant also retains its dedicated BRABUS driving mode, along with an interior trimmed in Alcantara and Dinamica upholstery, BRABUS-specific styling elements, and a digital cockpit powered by the AMD V2000 chipset.
Like the standard model, it comes equipped with a comprehensive suite of advanced driver assistance and safety systems.
Exclusive New Colour
The new Laser Red paint is designed to emphasise the smart #5 BRABUS’ muscular proportions and performance-focused styling.
According to smart Malaysia, the colour was chosen to reflect the dynamic character associated with the BRABUS name while giving the SUV greater road presence.
With limited production allocated for Malaysia, the Laser Red Edition offers buyers a more exclusive version of the flagship EV.
Pricing
The introduction of the Laser Red Edition does not change the pricing of the smart #5 range in Malaysia.
