
BMW Group Malaysia closed 2025 with over 10,800 vehicles delivered across BMW, MINI and BMW Motorrad, with 55% of those units locally assembled, reinforcing its position as Malaysia’s leading premium automaker.
The company also retained its standing as Malaysia’s Number One Premium Electric Vehicle (EV) Provider for the sixth consecutive year, delivering more than 2,700 fully-electric vehicles. EVs accounted for 25.2% of total deliveries, up from 20.6% in 2024 — a clear sign of growing acceptance of premium electrified mobility.

37 New Models Launched in 2025
BMW Group Malaysia introduced 37 new models and variants last year, supporting its “Power of Choice” strategy across petrol, hybrid and fully electric vehicles.
Globally, BMW Group delivered over 2.46 million vehicles in 2025 (+0.5%), with 442,000 fully-electric vehicles sold worldwide (+3.6%).

A major milestone was the local assembly of the BMW i5 eDrive40 M Sport Pro, marking the first fully-electric BMW assembled in the Asia-Pacific region.

MINI EV sales reached 700+ units (+15.2%), making up 46.4% of MINI deliveries.

BMW Motorrad delivered 170+ electric motorcycles, led by the BMW CE 04 (120+ units, +68%).

Charging Network Expands Past 2,000 Points
BMW Group Malaysia now provides access to over 2,000 charging facilities via partners such as Gentari, ChargEV, Yinson Greentech, and JomCharge.
Additionally, 100+ BMW i and MINI charging facilities are available at dealerships and partner locations.

BMW Motorrad financing penetration reached 67.7%, the highest in Asia Pacific.

Investment in Malaysia Continues
BMW Group Malaysia has exported 11,800+ vehicles to the Philippines and Thailand to-date.
Construction of a new Vehicle Distribution Centre in Selangor began in October 2025, with operations planned for January 2027. The facility will handle 3,000+ vehicles.
The company also continues its BMW NextGen Technical Programme (NextGT) with STDC to train future EV technicians.
