Proton e.MAS Rolls Out New Retail Identity Across Six Dealerships

Proton e.MAS has completed the rollout of its new Corporate Identity (CI) across six newly designed dealerships, introducing a new retail concept as the brand continues to expand its nationwide sales and aftersales network.

The new showrooms are designed to provide a more consistent customer experience across the Proton e.MAS network, with the brand positioning the updated retail identity around simplicity, comfort and innovation.

With the six new outlets, Proton e.MAS now has 58 dealerships, 45 service centres and 10 Body & Paint centres nationwide.

The six dealerships are operated by AJG Mobility in Bukit Jalil, MBf EV Auto on Jalan Sultan Ismail, Dunia Auto in Temerloh, Promas EV in Batu Pahat, BH Autotech in Taiping and GB Auto in Kulim.

New e.MAS Showroom Concept

The new retail concept uses a cleaner and more contemporary interior, with warm natural materials, curated colours and improved lighting intended to create a more welcoming environment.

The showrooms also feature full-height glass façades to allow more natural light into the customer areas.

Beyond the visual changes, Proton e.MAS says the new CI has been developed with future expansion in mind. The new dealerships have showroom footprints ranging from approximately 950 to 1,400 square metres, allowing dealers to display more vehicles while increasing their aftersales capacity.

The additional space is also intended to support more technical personnel and reduce customer waiting times.

Speaking about the rollout, Mr Zhang Qiang, CEO of PRO-NET, said, “The new Corporate Identity represents the next evolution of the Proton e.MAS brand. As we continue to grow, so too must the experience we deliver to our customers. We wanted everyone to feel welcomed, reassured and confident the moment they step through our doors.”

Six New e.MAS Dealerships

The six dealerships included in the latest CI rollout are:

  • Proton e.MAS Bukit Jalil (AJG Mobility) – Lot No. 2.05.00, Level 2, Pavilion, 2 Persiaran Bukit Jalil 8, Bukit Jalil, 57000 Kuala Lumpur
  • Proton e.MAS Jalan Sultan Ismail (MBf EV Auto) – 22, Jalan Sultan Ismail, 50250 Kuala Lumpur
  • Proton e.MAS Temerloh (Dunia Auto) – No. 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, Jalan Bukit Keramat 1, Taman Bukit Keramat, 28400 Mentakab, Pahang
  • Proton e.MAS Batu Pahat (Promas EV) – Lot 816, Jalan Pegawai, Kampung Pegawai, 83000 Batu Pahat, Johor
  • Proton e.MAS Taiping (BH Autotech) – Lot 10288 & Lot 23834, Batu 2 1/2, Jalan Simpang, 34000 Taiping, Perak
  • Proton e.MAS Kulim (GB Auto) – 133, Lorong Kenanga 1, Taman Desa Impian, 09000 Kulim, Kedah

Retail Infrastructure For EV Growth

The expansion comes as Proton e.MAS continues to build its presence in Malaysia’s electric vehicle market.

Rather than simply increasing the number of sales outlets, the new CI rollout gives the brand a more standardised retail environment as its dealership network grows. The accompanying increase in service capacity is also significant as a larger installed base of EVs will require a corresponding aftersales infrastructure.

With 58 dealerships supported by 45 service centres and 10 Body & Paint centres, Proton e.MAS is putting greater emphasis on the ownership experience beyond the initial vehicle purchase.

CarTok Editor’s Note

Proton e.MAS’ rollout of this new showroom identity is an investment in strengthening its physical network.

EV adoption is not just about having more models and competitive prices. Customers also need confidence that there is a dealership and service centre capable of supporting their vehicle after the sale.

With a network of 58 dealerships and 45 service centres, standardising the retail experience and increasing workshop capacity is important as Proton looks to grow sales and its EV customer base.
