Tesla Powers Up Kuala Lumpur with New V4 Supercharging Station

Kuala Lumpur residents now have even more convenient access to fast electric vehicle charging, thanks to Tesla’s launch with a total of 4 V4 Supercharging station at The Gardens Mall. This latest addition to Tesla’s expanding network features four V4 Superchargers and one Destination Charger, strategically located to serve the bustling mall and surrounding high-rise condominiums.

The V4 Superchargers boast a longer cable design, making charging easier for all Tesla models. With a peak power output of up to 250kW per vehicle, both the Model 3 and Model Y can gain up to 282km of range in just 15 minutes. Tesla has also emphasized the future-proof nature of the V4, designed to accommodate updates and new features.

Tesla is focusing on providing a seamless ownership experience, and charging is a key part of that. The “plug and charge” system, combined with the Tesla app, simplifies the entire process. Users can easily locate available Superchargers, monitor charging status, and manage payments directly through the app. At RM 1.13/kWh, Tesla’s pay-per-use Supercharging remains one of the most cost-effective charging options available.

This new station brings Tesla’s Malaysian charging network to a total of 14 Supercharging stations (64 Superchargers) and 15 Destination Charging stations (70 chargers). The company has reiterated its commitment to expanding this network further, ensuring broader coverage across the country.

The New Model Y (from RM 195,450) is now in Malaysia. Meet the New Model Y in Pavilion Damansara Heights from now until 2 March 2025, and Tesla Experience Centre Cyberjaya from 23 February onwards. The New Model Y can be ordered online at Tesla Malaysia Official.

Model 3 (from RM 181,000) is available to test drive and order in all Tesla locations, customers can contact the Tesla Malaysia hotline at 1800810655 to schedule an appointment.
