New GWM Ora Good Cat and Good Cat GT Now Open for Booking in Malaysia, From RM115,000
GWM Malaysia is officially accepting bookings for the new Ora Good Cat and the sportier Ora Good Cat GT, with prices starting from RM115,000. The announcement marks the return of one of Malaysia’s most distinctive electric hatchbacks—now better equipped, more refined, and still unmistakably stylish.
Originally launched in 2023, the Ora Good Cat quickly gained popularity for its retro-inspired design, impressive range, and premium features. With the latest update, GWM is building on that success by introducing enhanced styling, improved comfort, and upgraded performance—delivering what it calls “Everything, Extra.”

Refreshed Design and Comfort
The new Ora Good Cat retains its chic, rounded profile while introducing subtle styling updates to keep it fresh. Inside, the cabin is designed to balance comfort and technology with a 10.25-inch infotainment display, leatherette upholstery, and full smartphone connectivity through Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and the My GWM app.
Performance and Range
Powering the Ora Good Cat is a 57.7 kWh SVOLT LFP battery that delivers up to 480 km of range (NEDC). Its 143 PS motor offers smooth, responsive acceleration, supported by a 60 kW DC fast-charging capability that recharges from 30% to 80% in about 38 minutes.
For those seeking more performance, the Ora Good Cat GT features a higher output motor producing 171 PS and 250 Nm of torque, along with GT-specific styling such as a sporty front bumper, yellow brake calipers, and a distinctive rear spoiler. It also adds launch control and sport-tuned enhancements for a more dynamic drive.
Advanced Safety and Technology
Both variants come with a comprehensive suite of Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), offering 360° camera visibility and multiple intelligent safety features.
