2026 Mitsubishi Xforce Officially Launched In Malaysia From RM109,980 — 2,600 Bookings Already Secured

Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia (MMM) has officially launched the all-new Mitsubishi Xforce, marking its entry into one of Malaysia’s most competitive and fast-growing segments: the compact B-SUV market.
More notably, the launch arrives with strong early momentum, as the company confirmed 2,600 bookings have already been secured since order books opened on 5 February (with some buyers having received their Xforce prior to the launch event).

That early response suggests Malaysian buyers are paying close attention to what the Xforce brings to the table. More than outright power figures, the appeal seems to lie in its practicality, ride comfort, design and all-weather confidence. You can read about our first drive impression here.
The all-new Xforce is now officially priced as follows (on-the-road, without insurance):
- Xforce Urban – RM109,980
- Xforce Ultimate – RM119,980
It comes with four exterior colour choices – Quartz White Pearl, Diamond Black Mica, Graphite Gray and Red Metallic. At this price point, Mitsubishi is placing the Xforce directly into the heart of the B-SUV battleground, where it will face established names such as the Proton X50 and Honda HR-V.
Early Bird Offers Extended Until 12 April
Following the strong initial demand, MMM has decided to extend its Early Bird promotion until 12 April.
Customers who place their bookings within this period will receive:
- RM5,000 cash rebate
- 3 times free labour service
- Reduced 5-year maintenance cost to RM3,900
- Eligibility for the “Buy 1 Free 1” Xforce contest
In addition, existing Mitsubishi owners and their immediate family members are eligible for a Loyalty Programme rebate of RM1,000.

For Klang Valley buyers trading in their current vehicles, the M Switch programme adds further reassurance with a price lock guarantee, ensuring agreed trade-in values remain fixed without hidden charges.
MMM also confirmed that the first 800 units are targeted for delivery from launch day, meaning early customers should begin receiving their vehicles almost immediately.
More Than Just Another B-SUV Launch
The booking figure looks like the bigger story here.
A total of 2,600 bookings before official price announcement and launch-day deliveries reflects how strongly the Xforce’s positioning has resonated with Malaysian buyers.

According to Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia CEO Takashi Sakamaki, this mirrors a wider market shift.
“The strong response of 2,600 bookings we have seen reflects a clear shift in Malaysian consumer preferences towards SUVs that combine style, convenience, and everyday comfort.”
He added that the broader compact SUV segment has grown 6.3% year-to-date, highlighting continued demand for lifestyle-oriented SUVs.
This also reinforces what we observed during our recent first drive preview — the Xforce is not chasing segment-leading performance figures, but instead leans heavily into ride composure, wet-weather confidence and day-to-day usability.

Four Drive Modes, 222mm Ground Clearance
One of the Xforce’s standout engineering features remains its first-in-class four drive modes, consisting of:
- Normal
- Wet
- Gravel
- Mud
For Malaysian conditions, Wet Mode is likely to be the headline feature, particularly when paired with Active Yaw Control (AYC).

The system works by integrating throttle mapping, traction control, steering calibration and brake intervention to improve confidence on slippery surfaces.
Combined with its best-in-class 222mm ground clearance, Mitsubishi is clearly positioning the Xforce as a B-SUV developed with ASEAN road and weather conditions in mind.
Power comes from a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated engine (105PS, 141Nm) paired to a CVT, prioritising smoothness and efficiency for urban use.

Premium Cabin, Yamaha Audio And Practicality
Inside, the Xforce continues to play the practicality card strongly.
Highlights include:
- 12.3-inch infotainment display
- Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
- Dual-zone air-conditioning
- nanoe™ X air purification
- 8-step reclining rear seats
- 23 storage compartments
- Centre cooler box
The 8-speaker Dynamic Sound Yamaha Premium Audio System, co-developed with Yamaha, remains one of the more unusual highlights in this segment.

Convenience and safety are also well covered with:
- Power tailgate with kick motion
- All-round monitor
- Front and rear parking sensors
- Blind Spot Warning
- Adaptive Cruise Control
- Forward Collision Mitigation
- Rear Cross Traffic Alert
- Mitsubishi Motors Safety Sensing (ADAS)

Accessory Packages Available
MMM is also offering three factory accessory packages:
- Excitement Package – RM4,100 (front, side and rear under garnishes)
- Fashion Roof Rail Package – RM2,200
- Practical Package – RM700 (luggage tray and mudguards)
The first 50 customers will receive a 20% launch discount on these packages.
CarTok Editor’s Note
At RM119,980 for the Ultimate, Mitsubishi is clearly betting that buyers will place value on refinement, comfort and wet-weather engineering rather than simply chasing the spec sheet numbers.
Judging by the 2,600 bookings already on the board, that strategy may already be working.
In today’s B-SUV market, being the fastest is one thing. Being engineered for how Malaysians actually drive may prove just as important. It also helps that the design is unlikely to split opinion in the way some rivals do.
