MCVE 2026 Returns With Bigger Overseas Presence, First Country Pavilion

The Malaysia Commercial Vehicle Expo (MCVE) is back in its seventh instalment (14 – 16 May 2026), with organisers describing this year’s edition as its most international yet, driven by stronger overseas exhibitor participation and the introduction of a first-ever country pavilion.

Held at the Mines International Exhibition & Convention Centre, MCVE 2026 is an established platform for the commercial vehicle and road transport industry to showcase and discuss future mobility, logistics, safety, and sustainability.

According to the organiser, the seventh edition has recorded a significant increase in exhibitors compared with MCVE 2024, with several international brands using the show to unveil new products and expand regional visibility. Among the highlighted exhibitors are Angka-Tan Motor, JAC Motors, Trucks Dotcom and Handal BCM, while Allegiance Malaysia is returning with the largest exhibition space in this year’s event.

A notable addition this year is the debut of a country pavilion, with MCVE 2026 hosting seven Taiwanese companies. The organiser said the move reflects Malaysia’s growing appeal as a regional hub for automotive and transport-related business.

“This is a manifestation of Malaysia’s global reach and positive perception. We are well positioned as a global hub for automotive players,” said Stefan Pertz, Organiser of MCVE 2026.

Beyond the exhibition floor, MCVE 2026 is also adding more specialised industry content. The Association of Malaysian Hauliers will host its Coffee Talks under the banner “The State of the Haulage Industry @ MCVE 2026”, covering five sessions over the three days. Topics include industry perception, AI-readiness, rebuilt trucks and road safety.

CargoNOW Malaysia will also run a one-day deep dive into logistics, supply chains and transport ecosystems on 15 May, with sessions aimed at moving beyond theory into practical operational issues.

This year also sees the introduction of an Experience Zone, which taps into the growing interest in camping and caravan tourism. The display includes the Mercedes Unimog “Moggy”, shipped in from Australia, alongside vehicles offered by Asia RV.

MCVE 2026 is also backed by several sponsors, including Hengst, Hap Seng Trucks Distribution, City Zone Express, Sidhu Brothers, Mr Coffee and JMC. “We appreciate the continued commitment of our sponsors to the event. Challenging the status quo of our show, pushing the envelope, allows us to continuously improve MCBE and to deliver an exceptional experience,” added Pertz.

The expo runs daily from 10AM to 7PM, and admission is free. More information is available at www.mcve.com.my.

CarTok Editor’s Note:

MCVE has always been more than a truck show, and this latest edition makes that even clearer. With more foreign exhibitors, industry discussions, and an Experience Zone all under one roof, the event reflects how commercial transport is no longer just about moving goods. It is increasingly about technology, efficiency, logistics ecosystems, and Malaysia’s growing role in the regional transport industry.
