Malaysia Bike Show 2026 Officially Opens At MAEPS With 300+ Motorcycles On Display

The inaugural Malaysia Bike Show 2026 has officially opened its doors at MAEPS Serdang, positioning itself as one of Malaysia’s newest large-scale motorcycle and mobility exhibitions.
Taking place from 29 May to 1 June (from 10am to 10pm), the four-day event brings together motorcycle brands, riding culture, mobility technology, aftermarket products, and family-friendly activities under one roof.
Organised by Moonman Events with the support of the Malaysia Automotive, Robotics and IoT Institute (MARii), and in strategic partnership with the Malaysia Motorcycle and Scooter Dealers Association (MMSDA), the exhibition aims to promote greater awareness of two-wheel mobility solutions while supporting the continued growth of Malaysia’s motorcycle industry.

More Than Just Motorcycles
The exhibition showcases both internal combustion engine (ICE) and electric motorcycles, reflecting the industry’s ongoing transition towards more energy-efficient transportation solutions. Visitors can also explore a broader ecosystem surrounding the motorcycle industry, including riding accessories, safety technology, protective gear, aftermarket products, and mobility innovations.
Spanning across three exhibition halls, the Malaysia Bike Show 2026 features 72 exhibitors representing 92 motorcycle and accessory brands, including 38 international brands. The event also displays 304 motorcycles, 12 concept bikes, and 92 future models aimed at previewing upcoming market trends and technologies.

The event was officially officiated by the Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture Malaysia, YB Dato Sri Tiong King Sing, highlighting the growing connection between motorcycle culture, tourism, and lifestyle activities within Malaysia’s broader mobility ecosystem.

Longest Dedicated Test Ride Course
Among the main highlights of the exhibition is a dedicated 4.2-kilometre test ride course, where visitors can experience 79 motorcycles in a more realistic riding environment compared to conventional short demo tracks.
The route is designed to allow riders to better evaluate aspects such as handling, acceleration, braking performance, comfort, and manoeuvrability over a longer distance.
Adventure riding enthusiasts can also take part in a specially prepared enduro and off-road riding course, reflecting the increasing popularity of touring and dual-purpose motorcycles among Malaysian riders.
The dedicated riding areas are expected to become one of the key attractions of the event, offering visitors a far more immersive experience compared to a traditional static exhibition.

Focus On Riding Skills And Safety
Beyond product displays and test rides, the Malaysia Bike Show also places significant emphasis on riding safety and skill development.
Visitors can participate in the Safety Riding Challenge, an obstacle-based course focused on improving low-speed motorcycle control, balance, and real-world riding confidence in situations such as traffic congestion, tight manoeuvres, U-turns, and confined urban environments.
The challenge is designed as an educational riding activity rather than a competition, highlighting the importance of proper riding techniques, safety gear, rider awareness, and responsible riding habits.
For more experienced riders, gymkhana sessions are also available, offering technical riding courses that test precision, machine control, and advanced riding techniques.

Family-friendly Festival Atmosphere
The exhibition further expands its appeal with live entertainment performances, food and beverage offerings, interactive activities, and prize giveaways throughout the event, making it accessible not only to motorcycle enthusiasts but also families and general visitors.
As Malaysia’s motorcycle market continues evolving beyond simple transportation into lifestyle, recreation, touring, and electrified mobility, events like the Malaysia Bike Show may ultimately become just as important for shaping riding culture as they are for selling motorcycles.
