Suzuki Strengthens Northern Presence With New RM1 Million Dealership In Juru

Naza Eastern Motors, the official distributor, has expanded Suzuki’s presence in northern Malaysia with the opening of a new authorised dealership in Juru, Bukit Mertajam, backed by a RM1 million investment.
Operated by SMG Auto (MN) Sdn Bhd, the new Suzuki Juru dealership is intended to improve access to Suzuki vehicles for customers in Juru, Bukit Mertajam and surrounding areas.
The dealership is a 1S outlet focused on sales, with after-sales support available through Suzuki’s Bayan Lepas service centre.

Juru Becomes Suzuki’s Latest Northern Growth Point
The new 1,600 sq. ft. showroom features three Suzuki display units and a customer lounge, giving visitors a dedicated space to explore the brand’s current model line-up.
The RM1 million investment includes the dealership’s test-drive and display units, reflecting the dealer’s commitment to Suzuki’s expansion in the northern market.

The dealership is located at No. 3 (GF), Jalan Sentral Jaya, Pusat Perdagangan Sentral Jaya, 14000 Bukit Mertajam, Penang, and operates daily from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
For after-sales support, Suzuki customers can continue to visit the Bayan Lepas service centre at Jalan Sungai Tiram 7.
With Suzuki Juru now open, the brand has 14 authorised sales outlets and 13 service centres nationwide.
Mohd Rizal Jailan, Chief Executive Officer of Naza Automotive Group, said the new dealership strengthens Suzuki’s presence in the northern region while providing greater accessibility to customers.
He said Juru and Bukit Mertajam are strategically important areas due to their growing population and connectivity, adding that Naza Eastern Motors sees significant potential in bringing the Suzuki brand closer to customers in the area.

SUZUKI CARe Adds Motor Protection And Roadside Assistance
The new dealership also coincided with Naza Eastern Motors’ reveal of SUZUKI CARe, an ownership programme combining Suzuki Protect motor insurance coverage with Road Side Assist.
Suzuki Protect is a Suzuki-branded motor insurance programme underwritten by Zurich General Takaful Malaysia Berhad.

Among its benefits are agreed-value coverage for vehicles up to 12 years old, no betterment for up to 10 years, waiver of excess for up to 10 years, Special Perils Coverage and unlimited towing.
The programme also provides coverage for all drivers, genuine parts, Personal Accident Coverage of RM20,000 per person for the driver and passengers up to RM80,000 in total, as well as Key Car Cover of RM2,000.
Customers purchasing through a Naza Eastern Motors branch also receive a complimentary one-year SkyLounge membership.
Naza Eastern Motors said the benefits are subject to the applicable policy or certificate terms, conditions, exclusions and coverage limits.
The dedicated SUZUKI CARe careline at 1800-888-700 is currently being prepared for activation, with final system integration underway. Customers will be notified once the service is fully operational.
At the same time, Suzuki is offering rebates of up to RM20,000 on the Suzuki Fronx, giving customers another incentive to consider the brand’s current lineup.
CarTok Editor’s Note
Expanding the showroom network is crucial for a brand like Suzuki, where accessibility can influence the buying decision.
Juru makes strategic sense. The area has developed into an important automotive and commercial corridor and can service a wide area. A dedicated showroom puts Suzuki closer to potential customers around Seberang Perai and Kedah.
The 1S format is also a practical approach. Sales presence can be expanded without immediately replicating the full infrastructure of a service centre. This can be establish when the growth demands it.
