Royal Enfield One Ride 2026 Brings 1,000 Malaysian Riders Together For Snow Leopard Conservation

Royal Enfield will mark its 125th anniversary with the 2026 edition of One Ride, bringing together more than 1,000 riders in Malaysia as part of a global motorcycling event supporting snow leopard conservation.

Taking place on 20 September 2026, One Ride 2026 will feature more than 1,600 rides across over 60 countries, connecting Royal Enfield riders across continents under the brand’s Pure Motorcycling philosophy.

The event builds on One Ride 2025, which attracted more than 53,000 riders worldwide, with this year’s edition aiming to create an even greater impact through conservation.

For 2026, Royal Enfield will make a contribution towards Himalayan snow leopard conservation for every participant in One Ride, turning participation in the global ride into direct support for conservation efforts.

Malaysia One Ride 2026 Heads To Lumut

In Malaysia, more than 1,000 Royal Enfield riders from six states are expected to participate in One Ride 2026.

The national ride will culminate at Pangkalan TLDM Lumut in Perak, a destination that also reflects Royal Enfield’s longstanding military heritage.

Malaysian riders interested in taking part can contact their nearest Royal Enfield dealer for registration assistance. Registration is also available through the official Royal Enfield Malaysia page.

One Ride Supports Snow Leopard Conservation

The Himalayas have long been closely associated with the Royal Enfield riding community, particularly through events and riding experiences that take riders through some of the world’s highest and most challenging terrain.

For One Ride 2026, however, the Himalayan connection extends beyond motorcycling.

Royal Enfield says the snow leopard is a keystone species of the high Himalayas, helping maintain the ecological balance of the region. The species currently has an estimated population of 718 in India.

Through its Royal Enfield Social Mission, the company supports community-based conservation projects across Himachal Pradesh, Ladakh, Uttarakhand, Sikkim and Jammu and Kashmir.

These initiatives currently cover more than 10,500 sq km of snow leopard habitat, with 53 sq km brought under its community conservation programme.

“Every One Ride participation will translate into a pledge from Royal Enfield towards snow leopard conservation, turning our collective ride into a meaningful step towards protecting this extraordinary ecosystem,” said Mohit Dhar Jayal, President – Brand and Strategy, Royal Enfield.

He added that the Himalayas are both a place of pilgrimage for riders and home to the snow leopard, making conservation a natural extension of the community’s connection with the region.

125 Years Of Royal Enfield

The 2026 One Ride carries additional significance as Royal Enfield celebrates 125 years of motorcycle production.

The brand, which describes itself as the oldest motorcycle brand in continuous production, began making motorcycles in 1901 and established a manufacturing plant in Madras, India, in 1955.

Today, Royal Enfield operates more than 2,000 stores across India and nearly 850 stores in more than 65 countries, supported by production facilities in Chennai and seven CKD assembly facilities in Bangladesh, Nepal, Brazil, Thailand, Argentina and Colombia.

Its current motorcycle line-up includes the Bear 650, Classic 650, Guerrilla 450, Hunter 350, Meteor 350, Super Meteor 650, Interceptor 650, Continental GT 650, Shotgun 650, Himalayan 450, Scram 440, Bullet 350, Classic 350 and Goan Classic 350.

For Malaysian riders, One Ride 2026 offers something beyond a large-scale group ride: the opportunity to join Royal Enfield’s global 125th-anniversary celebrations while contributing to the protection of one of the Himalayas’ most important species.

CarTok Editor’s Note

One Ride 2026 gives Royal Enfield’s ‘Pure Motorcycling’ philosophy a more meaningful dimension with its conservation tie-in.

In Malaysia, the large turnout for the ride to Lumut gives this collective energy a purpose beyond the motorcycles themselves.

The snow leopard conservation effort also fits naturally with Royal Enfield’s long association with the Himalayas. For a brand celebrating 125 years, putting some of this heritage towards protecting the landscape and wildlife associated with its riding culture is a worthwhile way to mark the milestone.
