BMW Malaysia Opens BMW Clubhouse, Launches M2 CS, M3 Touring And 218 Gran Coupé M Sport

BMW Group Malaysia has opened the doors to its BMW Clubhouse at Factory 19, Petaling Jaya, giving visitors the opportunity to experience its latest BMW, MINI and BMW Motorrad models while unveiling three new vehicles for the Malaysian market.

Open to the public from July 17 to 19, the event showcases 17 models spanning battery electric, plug-in hybrid and internal combustion powertrains, alongside exclusive promotions and financing offers.

Three New Models Launched

Headlining BMW Clubhouse are the new BMW M2 CS, the all-new BMW M3 Touring Competition M xDrive, and the locally assembled BMW 218 Gran Coupé M Sport.

The M2 CS (RM950,800 without BMW Service & Repair Inclusive) is the lightest and most powerful BMW M2 ever built. Powered by a 3.0-litre twin-turbo inline-six producing 530hp and 650Nm, it sends power to the rear wheels through an eight-speed Steptronic Sport transmission, sprinting from 0-100km/h in 3.8 seconds.

Making its Malaysian debut, the M3 Touring Competition M xDrive (RM898,800 without BSRI) is the first M3 Touring officially offered here. Sharing the same 530hp and 650Nm engine, it features BMW’s M xDrive all-wheel-drive system, accelerates from 0-100km/h in 3.6 seconds, and combines high performance with a practical 500-litre luggage compartment that expands to 1,510 litres.

Both models also hold Nürburgring Nordschleife lap records in their respective production categories.

Completing the launches is the locally assembled BMW 218 Gran Coupé M Sport (RM192,800 without BSRI), limited to 50 units in its first allocation. It succeeds the 218 Gran Coupé Sport with a more aggressive M Sport exterior, Adaptive M Suspension, upgraded Driving Assistant Plus and Parking Assistant Plus systems, BMW Live Cockpit Professional, a head-up display and Harman Kardon audio.

Power comes from the same 1.5-litre turbocharged three-cylinder petrol engine producing 156hp and 230Nm, paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission with paddle shifters. The front-wheel-drive sedan completes the century sprint in 8.6 seconds.

More BMW, MINI And BMW Motorrad Models On Display

Beyond the new launches, visitors can explore models including the BMW iX1 eDrive20L M Sport, BMW X3 30 xDrive M Sport, MINI Paul Smith Edition, MINI Aceman SE, MINI Countryman Cooper S, as well as motorcycles such as the BMW S 1000 RR.

Selected BMW and MINI models are also available for test drives.

BMW Clubhouse also features the BMW Precision Lab, an interactive installation developed jointly by BMW Group Malaysia and Monash University Malaysia under the Monash Innovation Guarantee programme.

BMW Group Malaysia is offering limited-time promotions across all three brands.

Ownership And Corporate Benefits

BMW also highlighted its Relax. We Care. ownership programme, with the newly launched M2 CS and M3 Touring receiving a five-year unlimited mileage warranty and five years/100,000km free scheduled servicing under BMW Service & Repair Inclusive (BSRI). The locally assembled BMW 218 Gran Coupé M Sport is covered by a four-year unlimited mileage warranty and four years/80,000km of scheduled servicing.

Corporate buyers can also enjoy rebates of up to 20% on selected BMW models, additional discounts on eligible MINI models, and complimentary touring accessories plus a warranty extension for qualifying BMW R 1300 GS purchases.

CarTok Editor’s Note

The three launches reveal BMW Malaysia’s broader product strategy. The M2 CS serves as a halo model that reinforces the BMW M brand, the M3 Touring caters to enthusiasts seeking everyday practicality without sacrificing performance, while the locally assembled 218 Gran Coupé M Sport provides a more accessible entry point for younger premium buyers. Rather than rely on a single headline model to drive interest, BMW is addressing multiple customer segments simultaneously, a strategy that could prove more resilient in an increasingly fragmented premium automotive market.
