Mitsubishi Triton Single Cab AT Launched In Malaysia At RM107,980
Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia (MMM) has introduced the new Mitsubishi Triton Single Cab Automatic Transmission (AT), giving Malaysian businesses, farmers, contractors and SMEs an automatic option designed specifically for commercial use.
Priced at RM107,980 on-the-road without insurance for private registration in Peninsular Malaysia, the Triton Single Cab AT is available exclusively in Solid White.
It also comes with a five-year/200,000km warranty, while customers who purchase and register the vehicle for a limited time will receive RM4,000 in Diesel Support.
Automatic Convenience
The move to an automatic transmission is one of the main differences between the new Triton Single Cab AT and conventional work-oriented pickups, with Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia highlighting reduced driving effort and driver fatigue.
According to MMM, its research found that commercial vehicle users increasingly value driving convenience and ease of operation, particularly those who spend long hours on the road making deliveries or transporting goods.

1,145kg Payload And 2.4-Litre Turbo Diesel
Power comes from a 2.4-litre turbo diesel engine producing 184PS and 430Nm, paired with the automatic transmission.
The pickup has a claimed maximum payload of 1,145kg, while the cargo bed measures 2,340mm long, 1,580mm wide and 515mm high.
This gives the Single Cab AT a strong practical focus, whether it is being used to transport agricultural produce, construction materials, equipment or goods for delivery.
Other work-oriented equipment includes all-terrain tyres, a rear differential lock for improved traction on slippery or uneven surfaces, and a bedliner fitted as standard to help protect the cargo area from daily commercial use.
Reverse sensors are also standard, which should be particularly useful for operators making frequent deliveries or manoeuvring in confined worksites.
Public Debut At MAHA 2026
The new Triton Single Cab AT made its public debut at MAHA 2026, held at MAEPS Serdang from 28 August to 6 September 2026.
For Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia, the agricultural exhibition provided a suitable platform to introduce the pickup to farmers, entrepreneurs, business owners and other commercial vehicle users.
