EON Opens First Body & Paint Hub In Glenmarie, Plans Further Expansion

Edaran Otomobil Nasional Berhad (EON) has launched its first Body & Paint Hub in Glenmarie, Shah Alam, strengthening its aftersales services with a dedicated facility for accident repairs, body restoration and paint refinishing across its automotive brands.
The 41,508-square-foot facility serves EON’s multi-brand operations, covering Proton, Mitsubishi, Audi and smart electric vehicles, with Proton e.MAS expected to join the portfolio soon.
The hub is equipped with 39 repair bays, three paint mixing rooms and four spray booths, supported by modern repair technology and trained professional staff. According to EON, the facility follows its established procedures and processes to maintain repair quality, safety and finishing standards.

Accepts Insurance Claims From All Insurers
The Glenmarie hub accepts accident repair claims from all insurance companies in Malaysia, giving motorists another option when arranging professional vehicle repairs and restoration.
The facility is designed to support customers beyond the initial vehicle purchase, providing a centralised aftersales solution across several brands under EON’s automotive operations.
“At EON, our relationship with customers does not end when a new vehicle drives out of the showroom. We believe every touchpoint throughout the ownership journey is an opportunity for us to deliver value, build trust, and create meaningful experiences. This new Body & Paint Hub enables us to fulfil this,” said EON chief executive officer Akkbar Danial.
“The hub fully complies with EON’s procedures and processes, ensuring high quality and comprehensive aftersales service for our customers,” he added.

EON Eyes Further Body & Paint Hub Expansion
EON is exploring opportunities to expand its Body & Paint Hub network, with future expansion plans in the pipeline.
The company intends to focus on strategic locations where it already has an established multi-brand presence. This approach would allow EON to leverage its existing network while improving access to repair and restoration services for customers across its automotive portfolio.
The investment forms part of EON’s broader effort to strengthen its aftersales ecosystem as it develops beyond vehicle sales into a more comprehensive mobility and ownership services provider.
With more than four decades of experience in the Malaysian automotive market, EON continues to build on its nationwide presence through its multi-brand dealership operations and related mobility services.
The Glenmarie facility adds another layer to that network, giving customers access to dedicated body and paint repair services while laying the groundwork for potential expansion to other locations.
CarTok Editor’s Note
A vehicle’s showroom appeal may win the customer, but the quality of aftersales support will influence whether that customer returns.
Accident repairs are especially important because workmanship affects not just appearance and resale value, but potentially the vehicle’s structural integrity and safety.
EON’s multi-brand approach makes commercial sense here. A shared facility serving several automotive brands allows it to pool equipment, technical expertise and repair capacity instead of duplicating investments across separate operations.
With 39 repair bays, the Glenmarie hub has substantial capacity. But customers will judge it by the service they receive, and not the size of the building. Turnaround times, consistent repair quality, transparent estimates and efficient handling of insurance claims will therefore determine its reputation.
Further expansion should follow proven performance. A larger network is worth building only when the quality of service at the first facility gives customers a compelling reason to trust the next one.
