GWM Delivers 6,000 HAVAL H6 HEVs in Malaysia as Raya Campaign Highlights Hybrid SUV’s Growing Popularity

GWM Malaysia is welcoming the Hari Raya Aidilfitri season with its 2026 festive campaign themed “Raikan Perjalanan Menuju Keredaan,” highlighting the journeys that bring families together while celebrating a key milestone for the brand’s hybrid SUV in Malaysia.

Launched ahead of the balik kampung travel period, the campaign centres around a Raya brand film titled Lebaran Keredaan.” The film follows the stories of two characters, Faiz and Rizal, as they navigate family expectations, responsibilities and personal decisions in the lead-up to Hari Raya.

Set against relatable Malaysian experiences, the storyline reflects themes of sacrifice, forgiveness and the importance of returning home during the festive season. Within the narrative, the GWM HAVAL H6 HEV is portrayed as a dependable companion for long-distance family journeys, symbolising reassurance and peace of mind during one of the busiest travel periods of the year.

The campaign also coincides with a milestone for GWM Malaysia, which announced the nationwide delivery of 6,000 HAVAL H6 HEV units, positioning the model as the second best-selling hybrid vehicle in Malaysia.

Since its local debut in October 2024, the HAVAL H6 HEV has steadily gained traction among Malaysian buyers seeking a hybrid SUV that balances performance, efficiency and practicality for daily use and long-distance travel.

Powered by a self-charging hybrid system, the SUV eliminates the need for external charging while offering a driving range of up to 1,000 km on a single tank, a figure that aligns well with long balik kampung journeys across Peninsular Malaysia.

Ownership confidence is further supported by a 10-year engine and hybrid battery warranty, while the model is built on a globally established platform shared with more than four million HAVAL H6 owners worldwide.

Raya Open Houses and Book & Win Campaign

In conjunction with the festive season, GWM Malaysia will also host Raya Open House events on 28–29 March and 11–12 April across more than 35 GWM showrooms nationwide, giving visitors the opportunity to experience the HAVAL H6 HEV and learn more about its hybrid technology.

Customers who book a vehicle between 9 March and 30 April under the 2026 Raya Book & Win campaign (with vehicle registration by 31 May) will also stand a chance to win a range of prizes, including:
