Motosikal dan Enjin Nasional Sdn Bhd (MODENAS) has expanded its motorcycle portfolio with the introduction of the new Modenas Z650 S, Kawasaki Z1100 SE and Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R at the Malaysia Bike Show 2026 (29 June – 1 May).
The three models target different segments of the market, ranging from middleweight street motorcycles to premium naked bikes and high-performance supersports, reflecting the company’s efforts to cater to a wider range of Malaysian riders.
According to MODENAS Chief Executive Officer Roslan Roskan, the latest additions strengthen the company’s ability to offer motorcycles that match different riding needs and lifestyles.
“The motorcycle market continues to evolve, with riders seeking products that align with their lifestyle, experience and performance expectations. The Modenas Z650 S, Kawasaki Z1100 SE and Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R strengthens our range of products available to Malaysian riders across the street, premium naked and supersport segments.”
Modenas Z650 S Targets Everyday Riders
Positioned as a middleweight street motorcycle, the new Modenas Z650 S combines daily practicality with sporty performance.
The model features a more aggressive design while retaining the versatility expected from a motorcycle that can comfortably handle commuting duties as well as weekend leisure rides.
Priced at RM35,600, the Z650 S is available in Metallic Matte Graphenesteel Gray and Metallic Flat Spark Black.

Kawasaki Z1100 SE Expands Premium Naked Line-Up
The Kawasaki Z1100 SE joins Kawasaki Malaysia’s premium naked motorcycle range as a larger-capacity offering aimed at riders seeking higher levels of performance and refinement.
MODENAS says the model combines enhanced engineering, improved rider-focused features and stronger performance credentials to appeal to experienced enthusiasts looking for a premium naked bike experience.
The Z1100 SE carries a recommended retail price of RM69,900 and is offered in Metallic Matte Graphenesteel Gray and Metallic Matte Carbon Gray.

Ninja ZX-10R Continues Kawasaki’s Supersport Legacy
For riders focused on outright performance, MODENAS also introduced the latest Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R.
The supersport model continues Kawasaki’s long-running Ninja lineage, featuring aerodynamic bodywork, advanced rider assistance systems and performance-focused engineering developed from the brand’s experience in high-level motorcycle racing.
The Ninja ZX-10R is priced at RM114,600 and is available in Lime Green / Blue 24 livery.

Focus Beyond New Models
MODENAS said its efforts extend beyond product launches, with continued investment in dealer readiness, after-sales support, spare parts availability and technical expertise.
Roslan emphasised that ownership experience remains a key focus alongside introducing new products.
“Introducing new models is only one part of the customer journey. Equally important is ensuring that customers are supported throughout their ownership experience, from dealer engagement and after-sales service to rider activities and community connection.”
The company also plans to continue supporting owner engagement programmes, riding activities and community initiatives such as Lokal Lagi Syok to strengthen connections with riders nationwide.

All three motorcycles are being showcased at the MODENAS and Kawasaki Malaysia booth throughout the Malaysia Bike Show 2026 at MAEPS, Selangor.
Prices stated are recommended retail prices excluding insurance and registration.
CarTok Editor’s Note
Today’s riders are weighing comfort, technology, practicality and ownership experience alongside outright speed. The three motorcycles launched by MODENAS reflect these different priorities — from the everyday versatility of the Z650 S to the focused performance of the Ninja ZX-10R. The challenge for manufacturers goes beyond just building faster motorcycles. It’s about building motorcycles that riders genuinely want to live with every day.
