MINI Aceman Arrives In Malaysia As Brand’s New Electric Crossover, Priced From RM213,888

MINI Malaysia has officially introduced the new all-electric MINI Aceman, a compact crossover that sits between the MINI Cooper and MINI Countryman in the brand’s growing EV line-up.
Priced from RM213,888 on-the-road without insurance, the Aceman combines MINI’s signature compact dimensions with the practicality of a five-door crossover, while offering an electric driving range of up to 406 km (WLTP).

Positioned Between Cooper And Countryman
The Aceman is MINI’s first dedicated compact electric crossover, aimed at buyers seeking something larger and more practical than the Cooper but smaller than the Countryman.
Measuring as a compact five-door model, the Aceman adopts MINI’s latest “Charismatic Simplicity” design language, featuring an octagonal front grille design, LED lighting signatures, prominent wheel arches, roof rails and 19-inch Hexagram alloy wheels.
At the rear, buyers can choose from three different LED taillight signatures.

Digital-Focused Interior
Inside, the Aceman features MINI’s minimalist cabin design centred around a 9.4-inch circular OLED touchscreen running the latest MINI Operating System 9.
The display handles infotainment, navigation and vehicle functions, while MINI’s traditional toggle switches remain for key controls such as drive modes and start/stop functions.
Other highlights include:
- Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
- MINI Intelligent Personal Assistant voice control
- MINI Connected services
- Digital Key smartphone access
- Remote vehicle monitoring via the MINI App
- Over-the-air software updates
- Up to seven MINI Experience Modes with customised lighting and graphics
The crossover also benefits from a slightly elevated seating position compared to the Cooper, providing improved visibility in daily driving.

218 hp Electric Powertrain
Power comes from a front-mounted electric motor producing 160 kW (218 hp) and 330 Nm of torque.
MINI claims a 0-100 km/h sprint time of 7.1 seconds. The motor is paired with a 54.2 kWh battery pack, delivering a WLTP-rated driving range of up to 406 km.
Charging capabilities include:
- DC fast charging up to 95 kW
- 10% to 80% charge in approximately 31 minutes
- AC charging up to 11 kW
The Aceman also features battery preconditioning to improve charging efficiency.

Comprehensive Driver Assistance Package
The Aceman comes equipped with a full suite of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), including:
- Adaptive Cruise Control
- Lane Keeping Assistant
- Blind Spot Monitoring
- Rear Cross Traffic Alert
- Traffic Sign Recognition

Price In Malaysia
The recommended retail prices are:
| Variant | Price |
|---|---|
| MINI Aceman | RM213,888 |
| MINI Aceman with Extended Warranty & Service Package | RM221,288 |
MINI Malaysia also states that monthly instalments start from approximately RM1,680 under BMW Group Financial Services Malaysia’s Easy Drive Financing programme, subject to financing terms and conditions.
CarTok Editor’s Note
Not everyone wants the larger Countryman, and if the Cooper feels too restrictive to regularly carry passengers or luggage, then there is always the Aceman. With over 400 km of claimed range and five doors, the Aceman could be the most practical electric MINI yet.
