KUALA LUMPUR, 17 MAY: Chery Auto Malaysia is marking its first anniversary since entering the local automotive market by offering new Chery customers with exciting goodies.
New Chery customers will be enjoying a two-year free service maintenance package covering both parts and labour beginning 1 May – 30 June 2024. The campaign will be offered across Chery Malaysia’s line-up of SUV vehicles; OMODA 5, TIGGO 8 PRO as well as the all-electric OMODA E5.
The package is an addition to the existing offerings, which include a 7-year warranty coverage (or up to 150,000KM) and 5-years of complimentary labour service.
As an added bonus, customers purchasing the seven-seater TIGOO 8 PRO will also be driving home a complimentary pair of Automatic Deployable Side Steps (worth RM2999). This essential accessory automatically extends when doors are opened, making it a convenient feature when entering and exiting the vehicle.
Priced at RM159,800 (WM), the TIGGO 8 PRO comes in Dark Black, Khaki White and Aurora Green (Limited Edition). Powered by a 2.0TGDi engine, this SUV offers an exhilarating driving experience with 256HP and 390Nm of torque. The TIGGO 8 PRO’s engine is paired with a 7- speed Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT), ensuring a dynamic and efficient journey with a fuel consumption rate of just 7.4L/100km.
The OMODA 5, equipped with a 1.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine that produces 156hp and 230Nm of torque, paired with a nine-speed continuously variable transmission (CVT) is priced from RM108,800 (WM). It is available in colours of Khaki White, Dark Black and Phantom Grey for the OMODA 5C model while the OMODA 5H comes in Khaki White with Red Stripe, Dark Black with Red Stripe, Phantom Grey with Red Stripe and a mix of Khaki White + Black with Red Stripe.
While the OMODA E5 is available in Aqua Green, Khaki White, Phantom Grey and Dark Black and is priced at RM 146,800 (WM). The electric vehicle features an advanced electric drivetrain with 201hp and 340Nm of torque, offering a WLTP range of 430km. It also includes the latest generation of the Advanced Driver Assistance System 2.5 with 17 safety functions, integrating advanced sensors, artificial intelligence, and connectivity features.
This weekend (18 May), selected Chery showrooms nationwide will also be previewing the highly anticipated TIGGO 7 PRO. Customers can now book the vehicle, which is estimated to be priced below RM130,000. Additionally, the soon-to-be launched TIGGO 7 PRO will be showcased at the upcoming Malaysia Autoshow 2024.
