The JAECOO J8 marks a significant milestone as the first 6-seater SUV from the brand, offering a unique proposition in the D-segment with its “Off Road First Class” identity. The SUV is locally assembled at the Chery Corporate Malaysia Factory in Shah Alam, further reinforcing OMODA | JAECOO’s commitment to the Malaysian market.

The JAECOO J8 features a bold design defined by a Waterfall front grille that enhances airflow for cooling while establishing a strong presence, concealed door handles that reduce drag and wind noise, and sleek dual-tone 20-inch alloy wheels that complete the look with a bold, confident touch. Measuring 4,820 mm in length, 1,930 mm in width, and 1,710 mm in height with a 2,820 mm wheelbase, it offers a substantial road presence and generous cabin space.
Powertrain and Performance
The JAECOO J8 is powered by a 2.0L turbocharged petrol engine producing 183 kW and 385 Nm, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. Two drivetrain options are available:
