Jetour Showcases T1 i-DM, T2 i-DM and G700 Hybrid SUVs at Auto China 2026, Expands “Travel+” Strategy

Jetour International is amping up its global push at the 2026 Beijing International Automotive Exhibition (Auto China 2026) holding the first joint appearance of the Jetour and Soueast brands and previewing its expanding hybrid SUV lineup and “Travel+” ecosystem.
The showcase underscores Jetour’s growing focus on plug-in hybrid (PHEV) SUVs, electrified off-road capability, and lifestyle-driven mobility, as the brand strengthens its positioning across global markets, including Southeast Asia.

Jetour T1 i-DM, T2 i-DM and G700 Lead Hybrid SUV Lineup
At Auto China 2026, Jetour is presenting a mix of urban and off-road-focused electrified SUVs.
The Jetour T1 i-DM and T2 i-DM headline the range as light off-road PHEV SUVs, developed to balance daily usability with weekend adventure capability. Sitting above them is the Jetour G700 hybrid, a larger and more premium off-road SUV aimed at buyers seeking stronger performance (892hp and 1,135Nm) and more serious terrain capability.

Complementing the lineup is the Soueast S08 DM, a 7-seater hybrid SUV positioned for urban and family use, alongside several concept models previewing future design and electrification directions.
Other displays at the show include the TX concept, various concepts of the F700 pickup truck, T8, S10/L10.

Electrified Off-Road Tech: GAIA, C-DM and XWD
Underpinning these models is Jetour’s electrified off-road technology stack.
This includes the GAIA Architecture, a modular platform designed to support multiple electrified powertrains, the C-DM hybrid system that balances performance and efficiency, and the XWD intelligent four-wheel drive system, which automatically adapts to varying terrain conditions.
Together, these technologies point to Jetour’s intent to carve out a space in the hybrid off-road SUV segment, rather than competing purely in conventional urban SUV categories.

“Travel+” Strategy Expands Into Lifestyle and Community
Jetour’s “Travel+” strategy is evolving beyond product positioning into a broader ownership ecosystem.
The brand currently operates more than 130 Jetour Clubs globally, with over 31,000 members, and organised more than 500 community events in 2025 alone. Customisation programmes for models like the T1 i-DM, T2 i-DM and G700 are now available in more than 30 countries.
This signals a shift towards building a lifestyle-driven brand, not just a product-led one.

From Alan Walker to ESG: Building Brand Beyond Cars
At Auto China 2026, Jetour is also pushing cross-industry collaborations, including a partnership with global EDM producer Alan Walker, blending music culture with its off-road identity.
On the sustainability front, the brand continues to expand its ESG efforts, including community programmes in Saudi Arabia, Kazakhstan and Angola, as well as partnerships with the Turtle Conservation Society in Malaysia and the Cheetah Conservation Fund in Africa.

Global Growth Signals, Malaysia Potential in Focus
Jetour reports cumulative global sales of over 2.26 million vehicles, with a presence in more than 100 countries and a claimed fan base exceeding 50 million.
With demand for SUVs and electrified vehicles growing in Malaysia, models like the Jetour T1 i-DM and T2 i-DM could find a niche locally—provided pricing, after-sales support, and brand positioning are competitive. The introduction of the Soueast brand, however, will depend on market strategy and positioning.

CarTok Editor’s Note
Jetour isn’t just adding more SUVs. It’s trying to define a new space around hybrid off-road lifestyle vehicles, which remains largely untapped in Malaysia. The concept is compelling, but the fundamentals still matter. Without the right pricing, dealer network, and ownership experience, “Travel+” risks staying a narrative rather than becoming a genuine buying reason.
It would be speculative, but not surprising for Jetour Malaysia to preview an upcoming vehicle at either the Penang Autoshow (1 – 3 May), Kuala Lumpur International Mobility Show (12 – 21 June) or Johor Autoshow (21 – 23 August). Will it be the T2 i-DM, T1, or G700?
