Royal Enfield Sets Malaysia Book of Records With 850-Bike Gathering at Sepang

Royal Enfield has etched its name into Malaysian motorcycling history after 850 motorcycles gathered at the Sepang International Circuit, officially earning recognition from the Malaysia Book of Records for the largest Royal Enfield gathering in the country.
The record-setting event saw riders from every state in Peninsular Malaysia converge at the iconic circuit, transforming Sepang into a sea of Royal Enfield machines in what organisers described as a landmark moment for the local riding community.

All Models, One Community
Organised by Didi Group, the gathering brought together motorcycles from across the Royal Enfield line-up. Models on display ranged from long-standing nameplates such as the Bullet and Classic 350 to newer offerings including the Interceptor 650, Continental GT, Himalayan and Super Meteor 650.

Many participants travelled significant distances to be part of the occasion, underscoring the brand’s strong community following in Malaysia.
The milestone was achieved through a Parade Ride and mass gathering format, allowing riders to collectively celebrate both the record itself and the shared ownership culture that defines Royal Enfield locally.

Industry and Brand Reaction
“This activation truly elevated the brand and community to the next level, uniting owners from all races and cultures under one platform and one shared goal being the Malaysian Book of Records for the largest gathering, with 850 proud owners. The energy on the ground was undeniable, and we hope it delivers a unique and authentic ownership experience. A powerful start to 2026, kudos to the team and heartfelt thanks to Eicher Motors for their continued support” mentioned Rewi Hamid Bugo, Chairman Didi Group.

Royal Enfield also highlighted the significance of the achievement from a regional growth perspective.
Commenting on setting the record in Malaysia, Yadvinder Singh Guleria, Chief Commercial Officer at Royal Enfield, said, “We are absolutely delighted to create history by entering the Malaysia book of records. The fact that this record is for the largest gathering of Royal Enfield riders in the country makes it extra special as it is a testament to shared passion and community strength. Royal Enfield has always been known for its rich legacy and uniquely evocative motorcycles. We have offered truly global motorcycles which perfectly fit into riders’ lives and offer uncompromised versatility. We are working consistently to grow our network and capabilities in the APAC region and build an even stronger riding community. With the support of passionate riders, we wish to achieve many more such milestones.”
Official Recognition
The Malaysia Book of Records, established in 1995, serves as the country’s official record keeper for extraordinary achievements by Malaysians and brands operating in Malaysia, formally recognising this gathering as the largest Royal Enfield meet ever held locally.

CarTok Editor’s Note
It’s easy to count motorcycles. Harder to build a culture that convinces 850 owners to ride to the same place at the same time. That’s the real takeaway from Sepang.
