Suzuki e VITARA Launched In Malaysia From RM188,000 – Up To 426km Range
Naza Eastern Motors has officially launched the all-new Suzuki e VITARA in Malaysia, marking the arrival of Suzuki’s first-ever global battery electric vehicle (BEV) and the company’s entry into the country’s increasingly competitive electric SUV segment.
Priced from RM188,000 (on-the-road without insurance), the fully electric compact SUV will be offered in limited numbers during its initial introduction, giving early buyers an opportunity to become among Malaysia’s first owners of Suzuki’s maiden EV.
The launch also coincides with the introduction of a new five-year unlimited mileage vehicle warranty programme for selected Suzuki models in Malaysia.
Suzuki’s First Dedicated Electric SUV
Developed around Suzuki’s “Emotional Versatile Cruiser” philosophy, the e VITARA combines the practicality that has long defined the Japanese brand with a purpose-built electric platform and modern SUV styling.
Unlike converted internal combustion models, the e VITARA sits on the brand’s new HEARTECT-e architecture, designed exclusively for battery electric vehicles. The platform integrates the battery pack into the vehicle structure to improve rigidity while maintaining a low centre of gravity for enhanced handling.
Power comes from a 61kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery paired with a front-mounted eAxle electric drive unit producing 128kW (172hp) and 193Nm of torque.
Suzuki claims a WLTP driving range of up to 426km, while the SUV completes the 0-100km/h sprint in 8.7 seconds before reaching a top speed of 150km/h.
Drivers can select between ECO, NORMAL and SPORT driving modes to tailor performance, while the vehicle also features Single Pedal Mode with adjustable regenerative braking levels.
DC Fast Charging In 45 Minutes
The e VITARA supports both AC and DC charging.
Using a DC fast charger, the battery can be replenished from 10% to 80% in approximately 45 minutes, while a 7kW AC charger requires around nine hours for a full 10% to 100% charge.
The battery features liquid cooling and multiple protection systems designed to improve durability, efficiency and long-term reliability.
Compact Outside, Spacious Inside
Measuring 4,275mm long, 1,800mm wide and 1,635mm high, with a 2,700mm wheelbase, the e VITARA remains compact enough for city use while offering generous cabin space.
Cargo capacity reaches 306 litres, while the sliding rear seats allow owners to prioritise either passenger legroom or luggage space depending on their needs.
The exterior adopts Suzuki’s “Metal Beast” design language, featuring muscular wheel arches, signature three-point LED lighting, an upright SUV stance and 18-inch alloy wheels.
Customers can choose from five exterior colours: Celestial Blue Pearl Metallic, Bluish Black Pearl, Land Breeze Green Pearl Metallic + Bluish Black Pearl, Splendid Silver Pearl Metallic + Bluish Black Pearl, Grandeur Grey Pearl Metallic + Bluish Black Pearl.

In addition, the first 10 customers who purchase the e VITARA will receive five years of complimentary EV charging at selected Suzuki dealerships, subject to terms and conditions.
Naza Eastern Motors says owners will also benefit from its nationwide network of 14 sales outlets and 13 service centres across Malaysia.
Longer Warranty For Other Suzuki Models
Alongside the e VITARA’s launch, Naza Eastern Motors also announced an upgraded warranty programme for selected Suzuki models.
The Jimny AllGrip Plus, Jimny Rhino Plus, Fronx and Fronx Sport now receive a five-year unlimited mileage vehicle warranty, replacing the previous three-year/100,000km coverage.
