Boon Siew Honda (BSH) has expanded the capabilities of its Honda X digital platform with the introduction of two new features: e-Warranty and Service History, allowing Honda motorcycle owners to access important ownership information directly from their smartphones.
The latest update enables riders to check their motorcycle’s warranty coverage and maintenance records without needing to refer to physical documents or contact a dealership.

e-Warranty Provides Instant Coverage Information
The new e-Warranty feature allows users to view their motorcycle’s warranty status and expiry date anytime through Honda X.
According to BSH, riders can now verify warranty coverage digitally without having to visit an authorised dealer or keep track of printed warranty booklets.
Service History Records Every Maintenance Visit
The Service History feature provides a complete digital record of servicing carried out on a motorcycle.
Information available includes:
- Date of service
- Type of service performed
- Authorised Honda dealer that carried out the work
The feature is also designed to benefit Honda’s dealer network by providing quicker access to verified maintenance records, particularly when a motorcycle is serviced at a different dealership from where it was originally purchased.
Both features are now available on Honda X and do not require users to update the platform before accessing them.
Supporting Better Ownership and Resale Value
BSH says the introduction of digital service records can help improve transparency throughout a motorcycle’s ownership lifecycle.
A verified maintenance history allows prospective buyers and dealers to confirm servicing records more easily, potentially improving confidence in used motorcycle transactions and supporting stronger resale values.
The company also believes the feature can reduce manual verification processes and help dealerships provide faster and more accurate servicing.
Part of Honda X’s Ongoing Expansion
Honda X was first launched in August 2024 as a digital platform focused on service booking and maintenance reminders.
Since then, Boon Siew Honda has progressively added new ownership-related functions, including:
- Digital Free Service Coupons (late 2024)
- My Voucher (April 2025)
- e-Warranty (June 2026)
- Service History (June 2026)
The platform now serves as a central hub for Honda motorcycle owners to manage various aspects of ownership after purchasing their motorcycles.
BSH: Digital Convenience Has Become an Expectation
Commenting on the latest update, Boon Siew Honda Managing Director and CEO Kunitomo Asano said:
“Digital convenience is no longer a bonus, it is what riders expect. With e-Warranty and Service History, we are making it easier for our customers to stay informed and for our dealers to serve them better. This is part of our broader commitment to building an ownership experience that is transparent, efficient, and built around the rider.”

CarTok Editor’s Note
The automotive industry has largely embraced digital ownership tools, but motorcycles have been slower to make the transition. Features like e-Warranty and Service History may seem simple on the surface, yet they address a common pain point: keeping track of ownership records over several years. As motorcycles increasingly become connected products, digital service histories could eventually become as important to resale value as mileage and physical condition.
