NIZRA Auto Launches XPENG Store Damansara, Plans Expanded Aftersales Network

NIZRA Auto has officially launched its new XPENG Store Damansara, further expanding the Chinese smart EV brand’s retail network in Malaysia while reinforcing its ambitions in intelligent mobility and customer-focused automotive retail.

The showroom opening was officiated by Tan Sri Mokhzani Tun Mahathir, President of the Motorsports Association of Malaysia, alongside Bermaz Auto Berhad Group CEO Dato’ Sri Francis Lee Kok Chuan, Prima Maju Auto Sdn Bhd Chairman and Executive Director Dato’ Sri Amer Hamzah Ahmad, Bermaz XPENG Head Wan Zarel Harun, as well as business partners, customers and members of the media.

Located in the heart of Damansara, the new showroom strengthens XPENG’s growing presence in the Klang Valley and offers another touchpoint for customers interested in the brand’s latest electric vehicles.

More Than A Traditional Dealership

According to NIZRA Auto, the new facility represents more than just another showroom. It forms part of the company’s long-term strategy to build a technology-driven mobility business focused on intelligent transportation, innovation and customer experience.

Speaking during the opening ceremony, NIZRA Group Berhad Founder and Group CEO Nik Iruwan Dato’ Nik Izani said the company views XPENG as a technology company rather than simply an electric vehicle manufacturer.

“Many people see XPENG as an electric vehicle company. We see it as a technology company. The car is simply where artificial intelligence, software, connectivity and autonomous technologies come together. The future belongs to companies that build great technology, not just great cars.”

He added that NIZRA Auto’s goal extends beyond vehicle sales.

“Our ambition has never been simply to sell vehicles. We are building the mobility company of tomorrow—one that embraces technology, delivers an exceptional ownership experience and continues to evolve alongside our customers.”

AI To Play A Bigger Role Across The Business

During the event, Nik Iruwan also announced a strategic partnership between NIZRA Group and AiMotion, aimed at integrating artificial intelligence into customer engagement, business operations and decision-making across the group’s companies.

According to him, AI will play a growing role not only in future vehicles but also in the way automotive businesses operate.

Looking ahead, NIZRA Auto plans to further strengthen its XPENG network through dedicated aftersales and service facilities to provide customers with a more complete ownership experience.

The company also reaffirmed its commitment to supporting Malaysian-owned automotive businesses while collaborating with global automotive brands entering the local market.

Growing XPENG’s Presence In Malaysia

The opening of XPENG Store Damansara marks another milestone in NIZRA Auto’s expanding automotive portfolio as it continues investing in intelligent mobility, digital transformation and customer-centric retail experiences.

The latest showroom further supports XPENG’s expansion efforts in Malaysia as the brand continues introducing its range of AI-powered electric vehicles to local consumers.

XPENG Store Damansara is located at 2, Jalan SS21/1 Damansara Utama 47400 Petaling Jaya, Selangor.
